The Chaplin cinema in Rive-de-Gier is equipped with 265 seats, including a balcony accessible to disabled guests. The second room of 98 seats is air conditioned but not accessible to disabled guests. To see blockbusters, this rather family cinema is more affordable than the Saint Etienne multiplexes. Programs favor great movies. A good reason not to deprive and spend a very good time in a dark room with family or friends. Children's films are provided during school holidays.

Installed for years in the town of Unieux, the Cinéma Théâtre QuarTo has nothing to envy its competitors in the metropolis! Every day, the establishment shows the latest films but also hosts plays, concerts and other cultural events. Its unique hall combines comfort and quality and is fully equipped, including 3D technology (glasses can be rented at the entrance). The free car park right in front of the hotel guarantees easy access and prices have always been very affordable. Friendly and family atmosphere: you will be sure to spend a quiet session there with very little waiting!

Born of a dynamic association, the cinema Le Family is very appreciated for its conviviality. It is the first cinema in the Loire Valley to integrate hybrid sound reproduction technology: Dolby Atmos, for a guaranteed realistic effect. The establishment has 7 rooms in total, a waiting room to drink a coffee before the screening, a confectionery area... Enough to spend a pleasant moment with family, friends or lovers (who can take advantage of the double seats available in the rooms!). Blockbusters, French cinema, children's films, reruns of great classics... You can even rent a room for birthdays or company dinners!

We can only welcome the fact that obscure rooms open in rural areas, far from the impersonal multiplex of large cities. This is the case in Pélussin with the opening of a cinema at soft prices.

Bought in 2020 and then refurbished, the Megarama Jean Jaurès (formerly the Alhambra) remains the cinema of Saint-Etienne to see the latest blockbusters as well as most new releases. Previews and live or recorded broadcasts of cultural and musical events are also on the programme. Note that inside, there are always 10 comfortable and modern theatres, including 3 premium theatres called "Horizon" offering more comfort. And when you go, don't forget to take advantage of the attractive prices of the Hôtel de Ville and Jean Jaurès car parks: 2 euros all evening from 7pm and 1.50 euro for 3 hours every Saturday from 9am to 7pm.

The Cinéma Espace Renoir is a community cinema located in downtown Roanne. With its two screens, it offers a cutting-edge, commercial-free program in the original version with subtitles. Classified as an Art et Essai cinema, it benefits from three CNC labels: Jeune Public, Patrimoine et Répertoire, and Recherche et Découverte. The cinema also has a documentation center for those wishing to deepen their knowledge of cinema.

In July 2020, the Megarama group bought the Camion Rouge. But apart from the name, not much has changed in this cinema which is now called the Megarama Chavanelle. So, with ten theaters that can accommodate 1,600 spectators, it still makes the world of cinema in Saint-Etienne move! The emphasis is still on mainstream films, superhero sagas, French comedies... Finally, the Megarama Chavanelle still offers low parking rates in the city center: no more reasons not to see a movie on the big screen!

Adjacent to the brasserie of the same name, Le Méliès cinema screens films that you probably won't find in other cinemas in town. Independent and heritage cinema, films in VO, must-see films in VF... This venue screens 5 to 6 international feature-length films a week, and is a favorite with all cinephiles. Le Méliès is also two cinemas, offering twice as many screenings: the largest is located on Place Jean Jaurès, with 4 screens, and the other in the Saint-François district (bonus: a room with a balcony!). It is also one of the few cinemas to offer solidarity tickets for people on low incomes.
