Adapt its step to that of the mountain, enjoy nature in complicity with its horse, follow the trails to rediscover Haute-Savoie… No longer dream, the department is walking as well as on horseback and some loops take you to the high mountains in the country of Mont Blanc, in the Grand massif or to the Portes du Soleil, not to mention the splendid mouth of Léman-Chablais, that of the Avant or, closer to Annecy, on the Glières plateau: in all, it is about 1 500 kilometres of unspoilt trails waiting for the riders. Arrow routes for which the descriptive sheets have been published which are to be obtained from FREF 74, ATD, in tourist offices and in the cottages that host equestrian hikers.
