An A-Côté that we like to call our main address. A-Côté because this space, which is only open during the summer season and depending on weather conditions, is at the far end of the Clocher terrace and petanque court. But once you've found it, you'll never want to leave! A lounge atmosphere with comfortable sofas and a small Japanese garden to enjoy the fine weather without a cloud in sight. A selection of wines, beers, aperitifs and cocktails, as well as a "finger food" menu to enjoy tapas during an aperitif that extends right through to a game of pétanque. So, you absolutely have to sit on the terrace to admire the beautiful Savoyard frontage and to savor the good local air. Lo Garâjo is a great concept of altitude. The former garage, well placed between the village and the mountain resort, has been transformed into a trendy café-lounge-bar-grocery. Large glass workshop facade, brocante furniture to buy on the spot, juice and craft beer bar, delicatessen, ceramic corner, decoration objects, ephemeral gallery... and a small restaurant at lunchtime and at night with live concerts. Café-cycliste, a category we didn't include in our guide! In the old Duingt railway station, along the cycle path that circles the lake, it's impossible to miss Le Bon Wagon. A multi-faceted venue with one common denominator: bicycles. Terrace and refreshment room with a café - delicious small dishes, quality coffees, craft beers, cold drinks - a boutique (everything for bikes), a bike rental service and a host of services to help you get back on your bike with peace of mind, such as a tool kiosk and an inflation station.

This is to be expected, given that each of them has at one time or another shot a film or scene in Mont Blanc country. It's a pity the fresco wasn't done later, as Clint Eastwood and Cécile de France could have appeared in the trompe-l'oeil windows created by A. Fresco. Inside, three 3D digital cinemas offer a wide choice of French and foreign films in French and - oh miracle in Haute-Savoie - original versions. Who said there were too many British tourists in Chamonix? Not the film buffs!

8 years since we said yes to Le Ouistiti. A little monkey who welcomes us into a warm and welcoming room, with a beer cellar to keep you fed even when the bar is closed. It's just behind the Bonlieu center, and the place to come for a local craft beer, or a well-chosen glass of wine accompanied by a platter of artisan charcuterie and farmhouse cheeses. Rums and whiskies are also on offer, and the cocktails are delicious. At lunchtime on weekdays, you can indulge in a carefully thought-out home-cooked meal, with snacked red mullet fillets, celeriac mousseline, roasted fennel and roasted hazelnuts.
