Located by the river, in the heart of the picturesque Gorge landscape, the Nordic Park invites you to explore 25 km of carefully groomed trails, perfect for Nordic skiing. The area includes a free beginner's zone, two specially dedicated green runs, and three trails of varying levels to suit all levels of skier. For those who prefer to diversify their winter activities, snowshoeing, biathlon and even snow golf are available to enrich your experience in this superb environment.

Nestled on the Confins plateau, surrounded by the imposing mountains of the Aravis massif, this compact, twice four-hole course is an ideal opportunity to learn golf and perfect your skills. With a driving range, putting green and approach green available, golfers can hone their swing and accuracy before tackling the more technical compact course. Qualified instructors are on hand for individual or group lessons, to help you progress.

Our guides lead nature outings all year round, for a few hours or a few days. In winter, it's off for ski touring on the Aravis mountain range or ski raids all over Europe. Trained in off-piste risk management, they also offer snowshoe treks, icefall climbing and even heliskiing. Summer activities are just as attractive: hiking, via ferrata, canyoning... Some of our original outings introduce visitors to mountain culinary and medicinal plants, astronomy and more.

The Annemasse Mont-Blanc canoe-kayak club offers all year long the possibility to practice white water sports on the rivers of the Haute-Savoie, but also in the swimming pool (on Thursday evenings in Annemasse, upon reservation). This discipline is aimed at a large public (minimum age 13 years) with the only condition: to be able to swim a distance of at least 25 m and to be able to swim under water. The club is affiliated to the French Federation of canoeing and kayaking and therefore provides serious supervision.

Adapt its step to that of the mountain, enjoy nature in complicity with its horse, follow the trails to rediscover Haute-Savoie… No longer dream, the department is walking as well as on horseback and some loops take you to the high mountains in the country of Mont Blanc, in the Grand massif or to the Portes du Soleil, not to mention the splendid mouth of Léman-Chablais, that of the Avant or, closer to Annecy, on the Glières plateau: in all, it is about 1 500 kilometres of unspoilt trails waiting for the riders. Arrow routes for which the descriptive sheets have been published which are to be obtained from FREF 74, ATD, in tourist offices and in the cottages that host equestrian hikers.

The Cordon ski area includes 5 ski lifts and 10 runs over 11 km. The on-site French ski school will guide you through the beginner and advanced areas. 8 marked snowshoe trails are available free of charge. There's also sledging and dog sledding. Of course, these trails are also accessible in summer. The ski area is part of the Evasion Mont-Blanc ski area, which is always linked by ski-bus shuttle.

Besides its activities as manufacturer and importer of spare parts for gliders and gliders, this company is also a well-equipped ULM school. Possibility of baptism: tandem and ULM piloté. This base is located about kilometres south of Thonon, near Perrignier.

A highly professional paragliding school caters for beginners and experienced paragliders alike, offering courses to suit all levels. A warm welcome awaits you. During the winter season, the school also offers speed riding courses for experienced skiers. The guide office offers a wide range of other activities, including snowshoe trekking, ruisseling, ski touring, heli-skiing, ice climbing, caving, canyoning and more.

The International Ski School, accredited by the French Ministry of Sports, has 95 schools in France, Switzerland and Italy, offering ski, snowboard, skwal and Telemark lessons. Lessons, given by ENSA-trained instructors, are available from Sunday to Friday, mornings for skiing and afternoons for snowboarding, starting at the top of Le Signal. Private lessons, on or off piste, and private days with an instructor are also available.

With the mythical Col de la Colombière often visited by the Tour de France, Le Grand-Bornand is a paradise for sport cycling. The resort also has its freeride mountain bikers who swap their snow equipment for their downhill and speed bikes in summer. In summer, discover 8 itineraries (75 km of marked trails) at the top of the Rosay gondola, and 2 trails from the Châtelet chairlift! The Aravis ski pass is 200 km of slopes in 3 resorts. Possibility to learn or ride with a guide in the freeride area.

Thrills guaranteed! Created in 2009 by Haut-Savoyard Jean-François Michelin, Bun J Ride is the world's first bungee jumping site. By bike or on foot, alone or in tandem, you can launch yourself from a 28-metre-long springboard anchored in a cliff, for a 40-metre jump with free figures over the torrent. A second Bun J Ride site is open in Tignes during the winter season, offering jumps on snow. There's something for every thrill-seeker!

It is not common to combine contemporary art with ski resort! Flaine has been successful since its inception. This cultural centre welcomes throughout the year exhibitions of modern artists and each week offers a free visit of the station to discover a unique architecture and works of art signed by the largest: Picasso, Dubuffet, Vasarely…

A forerunner in Europe in the promotion of mountain biking as a new-generation sport, and a recognized leader in the field of mountain biking, Les Gets boasts a Bikepark covering 128 km of marked trails. This area includes zones suitable for families as well as more adventurous riders. Access to the vast Portes du Soleil ski area offers the opportunity to enjoy downhill mountain biking on 650 km of marked trails, catering for a varied public ranging from enthusiasts to families.

A privileged setting with a breathtaking view of the valley and the Chablais massif! In this Geopark of the Chablais, mountains often rhyme with lake and pure water. So, we take advantage of it to relax in this mountain lake where, in summer, the average temperature of the water can reach 22°C! To rent on the spot: chair, meridian and parasol. At your disposal: water slide, beach volleyball and multi-sports field. Inflatable water park and kidspark on a part of the lake.

Professionals who know the Portes du Soleil area inside out and can help you discover its magnificent panorama, on foot, on skis or on mountain bikes. Bike rental for all uses - road, trail, nature - and even electric mountain bikes to make your outings more fun. Descending the Semnoz, hiking in the Bauges or through the Crosagny pond: from small to large, there is something for everyone. Moreover, the Maison du vélo offers training courses for young people, from training to competition, and organizes raids over several days.

In the Pays and Fier country, fishing enthusiasts will be delighted. 200 kilometres of rivers and streams, specific routes require only to be travelled, and why not with a fishing guide. The Chéran has an interesting topographical diversity thanks to the width of its bed and the banks often cleared for easier fishing by walking in the water. The water plans of the Pérouses, former gravel pits, are pike, tanches, preserved and carp. The youngest will be able to discover their first sensations of fishermen in complete safety.

A unique panorama! Created in 1964, the oldest mountain golf course was designed by the former British champion Henry Cotton. Overlooking the charming village of Megevan, the Mont-d'Arbois golf course is a gently sloping course, in the middle of spruces, rowan trees, birches and other larches. Its prestigious clientele gives it a special aura and it is the regular venue for many competitions, including the unusual Winter Golf Cup, which takes place... on snow! After the course, you can eat at the club-house which offers a short but varied menu.

The large sports park of Morzine is a major point of action: There is an aquatic area entirely rebuilt inside (sports pool, learning pool, paddling pool, spa area), tennis (10 short), climbing wall and equestrian centre. And if in this summer heat, the winter atmosphere is missing, the ice skates at the ice rink every afternoon from to and Tuesday and Thursday evening from 21 am to 23 pm.

The favorite outing for families! Close to Annecy, on the shores of the lake, this nature base has the good taste to be open every day and to propose numerous activities. Every year, adventurers discover new routes in the trees, with different difficulties often renewed, always well secured by a team of real professionals. You can't leave Annecy without climbing Mont Veyrier! It's one of the most popular mountains with locals and tourists alike, for its superb views of the lake, surrounding mountains and town. Once you've parked at the Col du Pré Vernet, follow the signs for Mont Veyrier/Mont Baron. You'll start with a steep 40-minute ascent before reaching the top of the cliffs and taking in the view! The descent is via the same route. To prolong the pleasure, continue on to Mont Baron. You can start the hike from Petit Port.

When kids want to have fun and parents want to relax (or get caught up in the game), mini-golf is the place to be! In a delightful setting overlooking the mountains, you and your family can enjoy a challenging round of mini-golf. Clubs can be collected and returned at the Club House restaurant. Good to know: you can reserve your course online and make it your own.

In the heart of the Giffre Valley, starting from the typical village of Samoëns, come and exceed your limits and face the sublime summits of the Haut-Giffre. The UTHG is the sporting event of the year not to be missed in the valley. If the ultra-trail is primarily aimed at great sportsmen with a good experience of the mountain (here, 127 km and 9 150 m of difference in altitude), the UTHG is also open to beginners with a 9 km course, allowing to discover the activity and its exceptional atmosphere.

Summer and winter alike, whether on the trails or slopes of the Super Morzine and Lindarets ski areas, the Rustine mountain biking school offers courses and supervises rides with state-certified guides. You can sign up for an original mountain bike tour on snow, offering three different routes. Every Sunday evening, a free introduction to mountain biking on snow is offered on the Crot piste. In summer, take part in the "Discovery", "Free Ride" or "Portes du Soleil" tours, and enjoy 30 km of downhill action!

The Cheval de Feug is part of the Savoyard heritage, since the breeding farm of driving horses has been passed on from father to son for... 7 generations. An extraordinary adventure! Lake Montriond is the^3rd largest lake in Haute-Savoie, after Lake Geneva and Lake Annecy. At an altitude of 1,064 meters, it is 1,320 meters long and 235 meters wide at its widest point and 19 meters deep! Once the ice has formed, you can learn about this activity, surrounded by the best professionals. You can then observe the spectacle of bubbles and water at 2°C. Prices include security on the site, provided by an instructor with a state certificate, supervision, equipment (dry suit, anti-ice regulator...), and insurance.

Located in the heart of the village of Les Houches, next to the slopes of Tourchet, the outdoor skating rink of the village faces the Mont Blanc. It is a real pleasure to skate in the middle of such beautiful landscapes... and at the end of the day, you can even admire the changing colors, sometimes pink, sometimes blue, that illuminate the mountain. During the school vacations, it comes alive with music for the pleasure of young holidaymakers in a frosty night. Young children will be lent playful penguins on skates to learn how to balance on ice.

During the summer season, Flaine welcomes its visitors with the intention of offering them a revitalizing experience. A range of free activities is available, including big air bag, tennis, archery, fitness, bouncy castle, classical music concerts and guided tours of the resort. In collaboration with external partners, the tourist office also offers a wide range of activities throughout the summer, including caving, via ferrata, paragliding, golf, canyoning and more.

As part of the Portes du Soleil area, Châtel's connection to the Swiss ski area is fairly easy. The Châtel ski area itself offers 41 lifts opening onto 45 pistes located between 1200 and 2200m. Two snowparks will delight freestyle enthusiasts. The free shuttles, for all and even in the evening, allow easy access to the slopes. 60 km of Nordic slopes linked with the resorts of La Chapelle and Abondance, sledging, ski joëring and pedestrian-snowshoe circuits including two educational trails.

In the middle of the mountain, the resort of Châtel has many assets to make the most of its days, from the discovery of the village and its pastoral activity to the multiple sports activities. By car, on foot or by mountain bike, all means are good to visit the mountain pastures and cross-border villages. Mountain biking is king with an impressive number of routes and access to the Portes du Soleil domain. Tennis, swimming pool, horse riding, paragliding, climbing, white water sports, not forgetting the compact 6-hole golf course (and 18-hole mini-golf course) at the Loy leisure centre.

Mountain bike fan? Les Gets is home to Europe's biggest bike park, with over 128 km of marked trails for all levels, accessible by 3 lifts (Mountain Bike World Cup 2023). This incredible open-air leisure site offers many other activities, such as hiking to discover the peaks. It's also the perfect place to discover cani-rando. The Comité Spéléologique Départemental de Haute-Savoie is a caving organization based in La Roche-sur-Foron. Their website provides information on the various commissions and activities offered by the committee. These include a library with over 800 books on various subjects related to the underground environment, such as karstology, hydrology, geology, topography, cave diving, photography and more. Federated cavers can borrow these books by contacting Norbert Wourms. The committee is also involved in biospeleology, helping to protect bats and studying cave fauna. They collaborate with other organizations and share their observations with the scientific community. The Comité Départemental de Spéléologie de Haute-Savoie is affiliated to the Fédération Française de Spéléologie and is recognized as an association for the protection of nature and a player in civil security.

The Spéléo-Club des Mémises is a caving association based in Thonon-les-Bains, Haute-Savoie. It is part of the Comité Départemental de Spéléologie de Haute-Savoie (CDS74), which groups together the department's federated cavers. The CDS74 is a major player in caving in the region, both in terms of discovering the discipline and protecting underground environments. It also offers training and expertise for its members, as well as underground rescue services. Caving is a multi-disciplinary activity combining scientific, environmental, sporting and leisure aspects. It allows you to explore natural, man-made or anthropogenic underground environments, and to contribute to their study, knowledge and conservation. To discover caving, we recommend that you join a club or work with qualified professionals. The CDS74 is also involved in the publication of specialist works on caving.

Hiking, Canyoning, glacial caving, the Carmine Gaillard group benefits from the proximity of the alpine mountains to organize, with its 21 members, raids in the various caves in the region. Beginners can thus make their weapons, and the confirmed ones find descent to their taste.

SCA practises surface prospecting, underground topography, and occasionally canyoning. Its exploration work is mainly located in Haute-Savoie, on the mountains of Sous-Dine, Plaine-Joux, Bostan and the Salève… As for the initiation exits, they are mainly at the cave of Megevette, in Balme and in the Cave Cave. Meeting every first Thursday from the month to 20 pm at the club premises.

The Spéléo-Club du Mont-Blanc is an association based in Sallanches, in the Flaine massif. Although their website is still under construction, it is possible to consult the latest reports on the club's outings. A playground for toothed wheels, with 3 trails to discover! Departing from the Darandet chairlift, close to the village center, the course comprises three runs: a green one (Daranverte), a blue one (Darandel) and a red one (Dré Bas). The latter runs through a spruce forest, with a series of banked turns, tables and whoops... There's also a fun trail at the bottom of the resort where you can discover mountain biking. For those who prefer to go at their own pace, there are also signposted mountain bike trails from the same departure point.

Starting from Saint-Gervais, take to the air in the Evasion Mont-Blanc ski area. 400 km of pistes in the most beautiful mountain scenery in the Alps, an area linking 6 resorts and 4 ski areas between 850 and 2,353 meters above sea level. Indeed, easy to access and for all levels, this walk allows a moment of escape in the middle of nature. From the Ramaz pass, you have to follow a wide and stony path to reach the lake in about 30 minutes of walking. Lend an ear, you will surely hear the marmots! For the most courageous, persevere until the mount Fleury where you will have a 360° view.

Gliss'Cool is the ideal spot for kayaking and paddleboarding in an unspoilt natural setting. Located in the most peaceful part of Lake Annecy, the "Petit Lac", it offers ideal conditions for beginners: calm waters sheltered from the wind and a breathtaking view of the surrounding mountains and nature reserves.
