Par Monts et Par Vaux (PMPV) is an incoming agency specialised in the organisation of cycling, walking or skiing raids. PMPV has rapidly expanded its offer with "free" cycling and hiking trips, always with the emphasis on the discovery of a rich and wild nature and the pleasure of going off the beaten track on carefully chosen itineraries. Ideal for discovering the landscapes of the north of the Ardèche and the Haute-Loire, through volcanic mountains and valleys for stays that are 100% nature and pleasure.

Chauzon offers a wide range of sporting and adventure activities, thanks to the Comité Départemental de Spéléologie (CDS 07). CDS 07 offers adventure sports such as caving, with the possibility of visiting caves and avens. The CDS 07 also has a committee and a federal technical manager to supervise activities. Publications, contacts and partners are also available.

The association combines the initiation as well as the discovery of all audiences and also animates a karst path on demand. The places of practice for the 27 members of the ASP are Lower Ardèche in winter and Vercors in summer. Meeting, one Tuesday a month.

Lalouvesc is on the route of the GR 430, Chemin de Saint-Régis, 207 km from Le Puy-en-Velay. Ideal from May to the end of October for this spiritual and mountainous journey. At the departure of Saint-Martin-d'Ardèche, this 8 kilometre tour is accessible as well as by bike. As its name indicates, it will lead you to the rock and castle of Castevieil, among others; the opportunity for us to integrate a few notions of history and Occitan into a walk. Castevieil, meaning "old castle", was used by the Romans as a place of refuge and meeting: This is called a town, and its Celtic-type fortification is very characteristic.

The promenade begins at the level of the tourist office and takes you over 6 kilometres to the discovery of the country Ardéchois. You first get up the river via the land, before going along the gorges in the direction of descent, from Sauze until you return to the right port. On the way, the dolmen of Ranc des Banastes can be invoked at a short stop. Easy and accessible to the whole family, this circuit presents itself as a nice option for a sports Sunday!

While waiting to participate in the Ardéchoise, the first round of world-wide cyclotouristique trials for its number of participants (each year, let's remember, more than 15 000 runners are at the meeting), perhaps you can start with progressive training around Saint-Félicien. The village is an excellent starting point for many cycling circuits. Get in the leg with the N ° 1 route and its 8 small kilometers, then continue with the 10 km of Route N ° 3. Smooth progress: Route N ° 10 includes only a few hundred metres extra. Finally, finish with the N ° 2 course, which will ask you for a little longer since it stretches over 17 kilometres… You want more? In the heart of the Eyrieux valley, this amusement park plays in the heights combining tree climbing and via ferrata. Aquarock Aventure offers you 10 courses evolving between trees, on rocks and above the river. The Via Ferrata gives access to 2 giant zip lines of 250 m and 300 m to take off. In the heart of the Ardèche region, this Bee's station, like the one further north in Tournon-sur-Rhône, offers electrically-assisted bicycles for hire for cycling along the Rhône river and other soft paths. Repair, replace, recycle: that's the credo of this France-wide structure dedicated to cycling and cycle tourism. Each station is dedicated to welcoming you, advising and guiding you in your purchases, rentals and bike maintenance.

Departing from Boucieu-le-Roi station, enjoy the great outdoors! Along the valley of the Doux, enjoy a 360° panorama on board carts driven by a set of pedals. Several descents are available: the Chestnut tree descent with the crossing of beautiful viaducts, the Narrows descent in the heart of the Doux gorges and the Grande Aventure, the most sportive. At 300 m from the station, don't forget to discover Boucieu-le-Roi, a town classified as a Village de Caractère.

From the Blache du Mazel equestrian farm, you can go hiking with donkeys. It's a gentle adventure where you take your time and walk without luggage. This is not horse-riding, but hiking with one or more donkeys carrying your belongings (max. 40 kg/donkey). There are many possible itineraries in a loop around the Blache du Mazel, lasting one or more days, from campsites to farms, from gîtes to chambres d'hôtes. Ânons des sources is an association for the conservation and use of donkeys in Ardèche.

La Forêt de l'Aventure is a magical place for young and old, where you can move from tree to tree like Tarzan (or like a monkey, as the case may be). The 8 courses enable children (aged 2 and over) and adults alike to face up to danger - in complete safety - and build their self-confidence. A place where everyone can have fun together. There's plenty of parking, a picnic area and a snack bar for refreshments and snacks! Parents can organize their children's birthday parties at the park.

It's an hour's walk around the Issarlès lake. At the start, a sign indicates a troglodyte dwelling. This is the former house of the De Vogüé family, the former lords of the lake. A simple cave that sheltered a family... Other signposted trails include the 12 km Vallée du Gage and the 10 km Cherchemus. These itineraries can also be enjoyed on mountain bikes, with a few nice "bumps" thrown in for good measure!

Just a stone's throw from the Issarlès lake, this full-service riding center is the destination of choice for all lovers of horseback riding. The Ardèche mountains are a dream setting for this natural activity. At the equestrian farm, you can also try your hand at obstacle racing, or ride in old-fashioned covered wagons, like cowboys conquering the West! Numerous training courses and private lessons for all levels are available, with the option of full board.

Between two rivers, the Via Fluvia links the Loire to the Rhône. This new greenway is currently being developed as a bicycle route similar to the Via Rhôna, using bucolic itineraries. This new cycling route in France opens onto a large, preserved and spectacular outdoor paradise. Of the 8 Via Fluvia routes, two leave from Annonay along the Drôme, one joins the Lac de Vert, the other, currently under construction, will join the Via Rhôna at Serrières. In the meantime, a link to the Via Rhôna is possible through the beautiful Cance valley.
