Château la Martinette, one of the oldest wine estates in the region (1620) continues its metamorphosis with the birth in July of its brand new Mediterranean restaurant: Vigna.

The table is set on the outdoor terrace, in a sublime setting with a panoramic view of the vineyards; only 35 place settings, convivial tables, a chic and refined decoration and above all a lot of space and a flowery environment.

The cuisine is resolutely oriented towards Mediterranean flavours. The chef takes us on a journey from Greece to Sicily... The recipes are inspired by the south and the land. The plates are colourful, summery, light and tasty at the same time.

We advise you to share the starters as they are all excellent like the "Summer Ceviche", the famous "Pain Bagnat niçois revisited", the tuna tartar or the "Greek-style salad"; as a main course, the Sicilian swordfish and its seasonal vegetables is particularly successful. Lovers of canaille dishes will appreciate the oxtail and pasta aficionados will not be outdone with King Crab spaghetti and Tallegio's creamed vegetable ravioli.

Still a little hungry? Let yourself be tempted by the traditional profiteroles with pistachio cream or a seasonal fruit salad, melon gazpacho and summer granita. And don't forget that we are in the heart of a vineyard ... The wines of the domain are offered by the glass or bottle and in the 3 colours. Freshness and balance are the order of the day. Don't forget to taste the olive oil also produced on site. Before ending this culinary escapade, drop by the shop to buy a few bottles as a souvenir of your gourmet break.
