This Lilliputian inn dates from the beginning of the ^17th century. The same owner runs the Dagmar Hotel. It serves excellent Danish cuisine. Watch your head: the house is divided into several small rooms with uneven floors and very low coffered ceilings. The furniture and decoration are a jumble of authentic old objects (earthenware stove, old clock, big cupboards, sideboards, china cabinets...). A small courtyard allows you to eat outside, between old brick walls. This establishment is also a hotel.

An old ^XVIIIth century inn where every autumn the game is honored. The building was a pigsty, a stable and a post office before becoming a restaurant in 1945. The owners have preserved the traditions and the typical atmosphere of the Fyn through the enchanting decor of the room and the fusion of tastes of local products from their vegetable garden. Today, it could be classified as a gastronomic farmhouse inn. Everything immerses you immediately in the past and in the freshness of the dishes that you will taste in the dining room or in the garden. Rather high end.

The menu features fresh fish (flounder, herring or shrimp). To taste: Baksuld, the West Jutland specialty, salted, dried and smoked flounder, served with rye bread and scrambled eggs. In the past, the fish was cooked in the embers, wrapped in newspaper.

A place full of history and more than 250 years old. The setting is charming and the service meticulous and professional. Green and white checkered tablecloths, Art Nouveau style glass floral hanging, woodwork on the walls. In the heart of the small pedestrian streets of Faaborg, between the port and the shopping street. In this small village house, on beautiful wooden tables and under low lamps, you can taste fresh fish and the fionian omelet, fynsk aeggekage, with a mountain of bacon so grilled that it looks like chips covering the omelet. Traditional Danish cuisine at reasonable prices. Very nice welcome from the couple, with a view on the counter frequented by local customers, in short an authentic place. One is quiet, well served and satisfied.

A three-in-one café: café, dinner, and nightclub. Rather trendy, it is located in the heart of Odense with a view on the monastery of Gråbrødre and its pretty square. It serves an urban cuisine: Caesar salad, burger, club sandwich at lunchtime, menus with international flavors at night. The interior is typical of the taste for Scandinavian design as well as the terrace opened in the beautiful days. The cocktails of the house have a good reputation. The team is young and friendly, the atmosphere is festive but reserved for people over 20 years old on disco nights.

Byen Hus is a municipally supported project that started in 2010. In this large contemporary building, there is a bookshop, the local archives, a Biograf cinema, an art gallery, a brasserie and... a café serving street food. On the menu: two daily specials.Burgers such as the pork burger with coleslaw and homemade brioche bun or the Burger from Hell, steak seasoned with chili... strong. French fries and aioli. Mixed salads or sandwiches. As a treat, a poppy seed cake and coffee!

Café Lucca is located on the square where the town hall proudly stands, a pleasant pedestrian space with trees. The brewery is located in the City Hall building, formerly occupied by a police station. H.C. Andersen's grandmother stayed in one of these cells after the birth of a child out of wedlock. The company that owns Bavarian Brewery Technologies works with brewer-distillers in the United States, Canada, England, Korea and Australia. From the entrance, you can see an impressive copper boiler where a master brewer is regularly active. Many traditional Danish dishes are prepared with beer.

Street Food Vejle is a mecca for authentic street food from around the world. With the break inflicted by 2020, it has been given a makeover! Here you can enjoy your food inside, on the terrace or take it home.
