The département also boasts 6 approved equestrian tourism centers, offering a wide choice of accommodation for trail riders. What's more, the varied landscapes of the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence, such as the Gorges du Verdon, the Ubaye valley and the Valensole plateaux, offer magnificent backdrops for horseback riding. Thrill-seekers can also enjoy a descent of the Crête de Lure.

Madeline's equestrian center, a certified riding instructor, offers year-round horseback riding lessons for beginners or experienced riders, from two years old in baby pony. Madeline also offers "pony discoveries" where you go alone with your horse in the riding center, rides, discovery of the village in a carriage, carriage driving lessons, work on foot. Located along the Verdon river at the entrance of the village of Allos on 2 ha in a natural setting, you can enjoy a pleasant moment with your family or friends.
