Perched to the north of the town, Golo Curu is a pretty hill offering breathtaking panoramic views over the entire Ruteng region. We strongly advise you to make the ascent at sunrise, to take full advantage of the incredible light effects on the surrounding area. Allow around 30 minutes for a pleasant walk. Ask your hotel to show you the way. The final approach can be tricky on a scooter, but the effort is rewarded with a breathtakingly beautiful picture of calm and serenity. This is Ruteng's most beautiful viewpoint.

Large panels provide information about Rinca and Komodo. You can organize a one-day excursion, which must be booked the day before, because it is better to leave early in the morning.

The sunsets from Gili Air are simply breathtaking. Stop off at one of the small beach bars, with your feet directly in the sand, and savor time standing still.
