MOUNT MBELILING

At 1,239 meters, Mount Mbeliling is the highest point in West Flores. Starting at an altitude of 600 meters, the 5-hour hike to the summit and back passes through the magnificent Mbeliling Forest Reserve along a well-marked trail.

This park offers a unique experience of waterfalls, lakes, picturesque villages and exceptional flora and fauna. A 2-day trek is highly recommended. However, you'll need to bring appropriate equipment to cope with the rain, which is common in the region.
