Media Vienne

Pulsar was founded in 1983 by Father René Cateau and a group of students from the former Lycée des Feuillants: radio for young people, by young people. Over the past 40 years, Pulsar has carved out a place for itself in the Poitou media landscape, particularly for its independence, diversity, well-edited magazines and racy, ultra-varied musical programming (heavy metal, dub culture, jazz, punk...). We advise you to tune in, even if you're not local (local news from 8am to 9am). A dose of freshness guaranteed!

The weekly Christian newspaper for the Vienne and Deux-Sèvres gives a wider view of the news in the two departments. Every Friday, in its pages, the reader can find local initiatives, the history of the heritage, solidarity actions, companies that are recruiting, upcoming cultural events, reports on demonstrations... The newspaper tries to highlight the passions, the jobs, the careers of the women and men of the region. There is also a section for classified ads and legal notices.

Le 7 is a free departmental weekly (24 pages on average) available in 700 outlets. With a circulation of 50,000, as far as Châtellerault, Le 7 tackles local issues without taboos. You'll find articles on sport, culture, the environment, disability and employment (the list is not exhaustive). Each week, the editorial team profiles a Poitiers personality and gives a voice to local players. A weekly on paper, but also a daily on the web, this is a must-read magazine to keep you informed!

At the beginning of the month, it shows its nose everywhere in town on dedicated displays. Originally, as its name indicates, it was a weekly magazine, but it soon became a monthly publication. Today, it is a precious bible that lists all the events of the month in the department, day by day, all in sections: sports and leisure, outings, exhibitions and young people. And if you don't have the paper version, all its content is available online, with the possibility of posting your ad for free.

It's a ritual. Every morning, everyone fetches the newspaper from their letterbox and opens it with a bowl of coffee. Some go for the news or the national pages. For us, it's all about finding out what's going on in our department. Political, social, cultural, town planning, business, community life... there's something for everyone! France Bleu Poitou has been broadcasting in Poitiers since 2002. This generalist radio station offers live regional programs from 6am to 1pm and from 4:30pm to 7pm from Monday to Friday, and from 7am to 12:30pm on weekends. On the airwaves, you will find with pleasure a program of proximity with news every hour as well as numerous chronicles and local magazines on leisure, outings...There is also sport with basketball, volleyball, news of the Chamois Niortais... And at 5 pm, the Fêlés du Poitou help us to relax after a good day of work !
