Discover an adorable tea room in bright colors. In a cocooning atmosphere where sweetness is king, the menu of sweet delights takes us on a journey through tastes and cultures. Charming Iraqi Lana takes us on a discovery of her grandmother's recipes, including cakes, cheesecakes, cookies and oriental cakes. In pretty teapots, local teas from the Compagnie Coloniale are brewed, unless you prefer Turkish coffee with cardamom or a delicious hot chocolate. All served with a smile!

Housed in a large hangar on the Zone de la République, the Poitevin food court is on a roll, bringing together all ages and all publics: families, friends, colleagues. Under a garlanded sky, with its vintage decor, you can order a snack from one of the seven street food stands (burgers, tapas, wraps, crêpes... there's plenty to choose from!), pour yourself a beer from the giant 10-spout tapping machine, have fun, play games and dance. Every evening, a new event is proposed: sports, salsa classes, karaoke, dj sets... Republic Corner is the place to be!

It's tea time in Montmorillon, and we're off to La Terrasse. In this cocooning place, Kim Stupple will satisfy your cravings for tea and English delicacies (carrot cake, scone...). We assure you, everything here is homemade! On this side of the bridge, there's a distinctly British accent in the air. The decor of the dining room is in keeping with the theme, very... green and flowery - lovely -, but what really appealed to us was the famous terrace overlooking the bridge over the Gartempe and the medieval town. And with that, how about a cup of tea ?

The Grange aux Loups, managed by the company " Le loup qui zozote ", is a theater in the center of the medieval city of Chauvigny, installed in a 15th century barn converted into a room for live shows. With a capacity of about fifty people, the animations which are held there are always intimist. The program is rich and varied and is aimed at all audiences, including children: theater and music, puppets, stories, public readings and workshops. So don't be afraid to come and visit the wolves!

Close to the Place Leclerc, it is a place not to be missed in the student life of Poitiers. Spread over different levels, this big Australian pub of 600 m² welcomes a young and festive clientele. It has a great atmosphere! While the friendly bartenders are busy preparing good cocktails, the dancers invade the big dance floor. Here, there is something for everyone: beer-pong tournaments, karaoke night on Tuesdays with 29,000 songs to choose from, soccer or rugby game broadcasts, billiards, or DJs to shine on the dancefloor!

The Confort Moderne is a bubbling place of the cultural scene of Poitiers. This group of rooms is a laboratory for the creation of contemporary music and art. On 8 500 m² of concrete and metal beams, remains of the old electrical goods store of 30 years ago, the Confort Moderne offers a large exhibition hall, a concert hall of 800 places, a club of 200 places, a bookshop, a restaurant, a record shop... Concerts, residencies, experiences... there is always something to see. Be curious, you won't be disappointed!

The Biblio Café run by Louise, Aude and Hugues, former booksellers, is one of those endearing places where friendship and openness towards others have a special meaning. Our hosts wanted to combine relaxation and reading, and this is a successful bet! All the books are new or second-hand and you can "taste" them on the spot with a coffee or a tea or take them away by buying them. On the shelves, art, humor, ecology and even erotic books, but also comics, mangas, games... all in a retro and bright decor. But nothing is set in stone here: there are also readings, acoustic Irish music, sex or knitting cafés to discuss, and here is the magic that takes place.

A great nature outing for the whole family! Welcome to the sentier des pas perdus. Here you'll find not one, but five labyrinths. Plunge into their mazes, get lost while solving the riddles and, above all, have fun! Between Laby'Bois, Laby'Gazon, Laby'Arbustes and Laby'Miscanthus, our favorite is the famous Laby'Infernal (made of corn), whose route through the ears of corn changes every year. Try out the sensory course and don't leave without trying out the pedal go-kart circuits. Fun guaranteed!

Tasting a coffee here is an art. On the menu, a dozen varieties are highlighted. Producer, origin, terroir, harvest period, flavor, the coffee has been carefully selected by Anne and Frédéric, our roasters. You can drink it tightly or prepared with gentleness and precision. For tea lovers, a hundred varieties are offered, but perhaps you will opt for a colored and flavored milk drink. Accompany it all with a homemade pastry with or without gluten. The space is cosy, the tables rare, the welcome warm. A privilege!

Want to slip into the shoes of a detective? Head to the Secret Agency on Rue Carnot to don your sleuthing gear and discover the city under the guise of a police investigation. With "Coup de chaud pour la momie ", you'll have 90 minutes to find out who stole Tutankhamen and catch the thief. Or use your deductive skills to solve a murder in "Paul n'a pas de bol ". Or try out the new "Mr. William's Manor". Urban games (family adventure games) are also available from the Poitiers tourist office.

Outside of meal times, this café bistro is the fashionable place to meet up with friends over one of the many drinks on the menu, such as mint tea (fresh mint!) or the Viennese chocolate that we are so fond of. La Serru' is the place to be for families, professionals and students. The setting of this bar is very composite. Stay on the first floor if you want to enjoy the incredible main room, its glass roof and its windows... It is one of the few places open in Poitiers on Monday afternoons where you can have a tea with a delicacy (tiramisu, custard...).

Fat Co? We could believe it but not, the place is all the cleanest. We come to exchange, to drink, reasonably as it should… The smile is without supplement, the benefit without great surprise, and the short counters sometimes tasty: «when we know what we know, and we can see what one sees, we should not be surprised that one thinks what one thinks…» A laughable quotation to note in your calepins without further delay to reveal it during your next evening!

The nightclub La Tomate is the place to be for those over 23. Here, you can dance the night away.

Just like the two nearby bars, Theatre Café is known for its location, right in the heart of downtown, on the main square of the city hall, commonly known as Weapons square. The place is magnificent, since the work that has been done in this place; it is huge and splendid, the sun is at the meeting, but the parasols protect you… The best is to come at the end of the day when the sunset falls on the town hall. Apart from that, the bar has nothing for him. The hotel was very close to the train station. So, certainly, the prices could point to the location, but if the bar does not create any event, people will only go. It is a pity…

A gourmet address that will melt more than one! It was during a trip to Quebec that Jaël came across a concept that made her fall in love: a dessert bar that combines crepes and chocolate. On the counter, milk, dark and white chocolate flows freely in the fountains. On the menu, pancakes of course, often unstructured or in the form of turnovers, associated with fruit, but also waffles, Brussels waffles or lollipops, and for all recipes, a good dose of chocolate. Addicts will go so far as to share a fountain and its sweets. At Signature, we also offer a savory break for lunch (pancakes, waffles) and gourmet drinks. Hard to resist.

With its resolutely modern, even industrial look (steel, raw concrete and glass), the young festive and cultural hall of La Quintaine, with its beautiful acoustics, offers an eclectic and atypical program that is dedicated to family discoveries. The recipe for a great program? Great headliners, a few evenings of song, humor, dance, a lot of theater and especially a lot of circus. This 340-seat hall can also be used for exhibitions, dinner dances, bingo events, etc. During the year, there are several shows (Bien-être et nature, Vitisaveurs...).

It's a meeting place where people like to chat. In winter, with jazzy music playing in the background, you can enjoy a cup of tea, coffee or syrup. It's cosy. It's easy to chat with strangers. The bistro tables are tightly packed. In summer, the shop window is open. In front of it, regulars enjoy the hustle and bustle of the square, sometimes with a notebook or book in hand. On the other side of the street, at the foot of Notre-Dame church, on the shady terrace, you can enjoy a drink with your sandwich or after the market. A place that remains true to itself.

If you want to let off steam, this is the place to be. Air jump, it's for kids and adults. Put on your sports clothes and let's go! At your disposal, trampolines of all sizes including the longest in Europe (40 m) where gymnasts even come to train. So you jump, you bounce and you take yourself for an athlete by trying out improbable figures. If you come in groups, let yourself be tempted by a dodgeball... on a trampoline and complete your outing with a throw of axes.
