Here is a boutique that is unlike any other. What a pleasure to discover the universe of Marina Richer, a former theater costume designer who never stops diverting old materials that have become the sources of her inspiration over the years. The result is magnificent. The creations are made locally and you only need to visit the workshop to find what you are looking for. Travel pouch in marine canvas, basket in oyster mesh for walkers and cyclists and the famous backpacks in waterproof canvas.

For more than 25 years, Sylvain Berthommé has been making more than just knives. It was in the middle of the Atlantic that this skipper imagined a prototype made for sailors. The name was found, Farol, which means lighthouse in Portuguese, and the first model was named Cachalot, after the cetacean hunted a few years earlier in the Azores. Just a few steps from the Maritime Museum, the store allows you to find some beautiful products, knives of course (Gustave, Tibùr) but also bags and belts. A second store is located in La Pallice.

This pretty store, with its sailor-style front, is located close to the port and citadel. From the village center, take a leisurely stroll along the colorful huts to the shop. Before entering this decorating den, take time to admire the ever-present window displays. Push open the doors and you'll find everything you need to brighten up your home, from tableware to cushions, furniture and wooden signs...

Around the bend in the channels of the Route d'Ors and the Port du Château, some twenty former oyster-farming huts stand along the avenue. Rehabilitated, these colorful cottages are now dedicated to art and respect for the maritime environment. Jewelry, paintings, clothes, accessories, ceramics, stained glass, sculptures, mosaics - there's something for everyone. The atmosphere is resolutely pleasant, whether around the wood merry-go-round or during a chat with one of the designers.
