Ideas for walks and bike rides are available. The walking tour is 8 to 10 km round trip (about 3 hours). From the tip of the Fosse to the southern tip of the island, the path, with its gentle relief, is perfectly marked and well protected from the wind. It takes barely 5 kilometres to reach Barbâtre. You can return by the pine forest, by the fire path that runs along the houses and undulates along the edge or you can prefer to walk sheltered by the dike on the bay side to discover a completely different facet of the island of Noirmoutier. Another alternative to discover this pine forest in depth is cycling, for a hike "between Gois and forest". The trail is 23.3 km long (about 2.5 hours).
