Musical season from October to March.

Lovers of classical music eagerly await the six appointments, one Sunday a month, of this musical season. A prestigious framework, Ogaden abbey and ambitious programming bring together lovers always conquered.

Created in 2005 at the instigation of the French Ministry of Culture and Communication, this event is an opportunity to discover the museums of Mance and Sarthe in a whole new way. This exceptional opening is scheduled for spring, from 7pm to midnight. Lecturers at the city's various museums will be offering guided tours and fun activities, covering both temporary exhibitions and the permanent collections. It's sure to be a surreal experience, as nighttime is always a time for dreams and mystery. The museum institution takes on a magical new dimension. An annual experience not to be missed.

The meeting is always set on June 21, which is most often the summer solstice and therefore the longest of the year. What better chance to celebrate until dawn? Le Mans Cité Chanson has been running for over 20 years and has three main objectives:

To promote the art of song to the general public. A coherent series of events (major concerts, local events in a variety of public and private venues) aims to bring musical practice to as wide an audience as possible.

The development of amateur practices in the field of song: to this end, we have set up a variety of workshops and spaces for expression.

Supporting and promoting young French-speaking artists.

Puls'Art is a key event in the cultural life of Le Mans. Since its creation in 1993, this international contemporary art event has revealed over a thousand artists to the public, and served as a springboard for many of them. It's also an opportunity to make art accessible to all, by bringing it to the heart of the town center in the new FIAA center (Fonds International d'Art Actuel). Discover paintings, buy them, talk to the artists present - everything is done to highlight the diversity and uniqueness of the works on display and to enlighten your strolls. Centre Culturel de la Sarthe offers a series of performances and concerts for young children, during the Festival of Épau. This show, precisely, should be extremely original and appreciated because it is served in the forest of Lulled. The concert impromptu and l'< i>ensemble Tétraflûtes of Geneva participate in it. It is a musical creation and choreographic of around an hour. With the association, Jean-Michel Bossini is found. Choreography and dance are the work of Marie-Françoise Garcia. Named La Outbreak de l 'Epau, four decades ago, this joyous magazine is a tribute to the music-hall. Renewed every year to satisfy its audience, La Outbreak today gives 55 annual performances for 20,000 spectators within three months. Some thirty artists participate in the show. Some 300 costumes are used for staging. The season runs traditionally from December to the end of February. Success is always a success. The troupe, composed of volunteers, amateur artists and emerging talent, is a springboard for professionals. Each business body (board board, sound, light, costume maker…) works all year to offer a quality spectacle that is constantly renewed. The warm atmosphere will conquer you. No doubt. The singing towers, the laughter of laughter and the glamorous glamor make this an unforgettable sight. It's like this entertainment will give you the taste of cabaret. In early June, brass lovers will be able to discover several formations at the Festival of brass, which will take place between Mamers and Saint-Cosme-en-Vairais. The Community of Communes is at the head of the project. The Cuivres Brass Cuivres will open the dance at 20 pm on the first evening at the Saugonna Cultural Space. It is an Austrian group formed in 1996. All members are graduated from the University of Music in Vienna. It's after the courses, at the café du "Mnozil" where they regularly found that this happy band gave its first concerts. Their songs are enamelled with stylist scenes playing on the absurd. Schlager (a kind of traditional music that appeared at the beginning of the xxth century century), jazz and time of international pop standards make up the majority of the repertoire. You will also have the opportunity to listen to "Les Oignons", "Spirit of Chicago" and the Toulouse group "Iby 6", this time at the Atlantis complex in Saint-Cosme-en-Vairais, and in its gardens. Completely free and free of access, these two summer evenings will take the beautiful part, on July 20 and 21 in the current music, in the park of Château de Sablé-sur-Sarthe. Internationally recognized, Debussy is a professional quartet that has chosen, since its creation, to support its actions on transmission and sharing. First Grand Prix of the International competition of String Quartet in Evian in 1993, winner of a classical music victory in 1996 (better chamber music training), these four artists took place on the most prestigious scenes; Cité de la musique de Paris, Festival de l'Épau, operas of Lyon, Avignon and Rennes etc. but also international tours passing through Japan, the opera of Geneva, the Wigmore Hall in London. This does not prevent them from being accessible to their audiences, since they are also great teachers who organize, in the province, summer academies and other festivals. This festival is undoubtedly one of the major autumn events. This commitment to eclecticism always ensures top-quality concerts: Alpha Blondy, Skip The Use, Nina Hagen and Zazie, to name but a few. Big names have set the crowds alight in previous editions. There's no doubt that this year's live concerts will feature both established and up-and-coming artists. Concerts will be held on several stages in Le Mans, including the Centre des Expositions, Salle Jean-Carmet in Allonnes, Salle Coppelia in La Flèche and the Palais des Congrès.
