Far less famous than the Mirande festival, and also more recent, the Vic-Fezensac Western Country Festival nonetheless attracts enthusiasts of this line dance straight from the United States of America. The dancers don their boots and stetsons, and step to the rhythm of the banjo and fiddle. Far West-inspired entertainment and free concerts are also organized in the town center, which is redecorated in the colors of the American flag for the occasion. The festival will celebrate its ^6th edition in 2024.

Traditionally festive, Nogaro organizes numerous events over 4 days during its fête votive: funfair, lively bodega, pétanque and fishing competitions, traditional aperitifs and meals, interville bullfighting games between Nogaro and neighboring Riscle in the arenas, hiking and horse-riding, horse-drawn carriage rides, acrobatic displays, humorous parade and flower parade, garage sale and regional produce fair, Landes races, cow release in the streets, fireworks and disco. An event to remember!

This young festival will surprise your taste buds again this year! "Auch : le goût" is a gourmet festival showcasing Gers and Gascony gastronomy. Connoisseurs, amateurs, gourmands and gourmets come together for markets, gastronomic meals, masterclasses, competitions and other events highlighting the work of producers, artisans, winegrowers and food professionals. L'Isle-Jourdain gets festive in July! Organized by the Comité des Fêtes, the festivities are as varied as they are festive: funfair, merry-go-rounds, numerous food stalls and refreshment stands in local colors, pétanque and fishing competitions, traditional dances with live bands on the Esplanade des Pyrénées square... You can also enjoy the fireworks display at the Grand Lac to round off the festivities! All in all, it's a great way to enjoy the festival with family and friends.

Near Condom in the Gers countryside, the Foyers Ruraux du Gers organizes annual Gascon palet competitions. Whether you're a fan or just curious, come to Vicnau to play alongside twenty-five enthusiasts, or simply to discover this traditional sport! Here, sport and pleasure go hand in hand: it's a three-hour competition where everyone is rewarded. As part of the "Mardis de l'Été" (Summer Tuesdays), Floc de Gascogne, the South-West's must-have aperitif, is the star of a day of cocktail events (initiation and tasting) to discover the drink. Later in the day, enjoy a guided tour of the Cathedral and a free organ concert by Les Vespérales. Finally, in the evening, the traditional gourmet market featuring local producers awaits you! Fill your plate with gourmet products and enjoy a tasting of local wines and Armagnac, to the sound of the bandas!

It's the last major event for fans of traditional games from the South-West, as it's the final day of the Trophée! At this tournament, open to all, players are divided into groups for the three workshops: quilles au maillet, palet gascon and rampeau. Beginners can also sign up to take part in this friendly competition. Of course, whether you're a participant or a spectator, don't miss the awards ceremony and the "pot de l'amitié" at the end of the day!

The Inter-Land Sports Office of L'Isle-Jordan offers canoes canoes to carry out two courses on the Sava. A 8 km (blue) expert course and a 6 km (green) discovery course invite you to discover this river. Whether you are a beginner or a confirmed navigator, these courses are perfect for a sporting moment in the quiet and nature of Gascony Toulouse.

The Loisirs Lake recreation base is located in a beautiful wooded valley. On the one hand, a swimming pool with all the facilities ideal for a relaxing moment, on the other, the lake of 80 hectares. Founded in 1991 by a group of traditional Occitan dancers, the Trad'envie festival is dedicated to showcasing the diversity of popular Occitan culture through dance, song, music and, of course, the Occitan language... The festival also hosts a stringed-instrument fair, and every year, it's a bold and eclectic affair. With no fewer than twenty concerts and dances, there's no doubt that everyone will be able to enjoy some fine musical discoveries, as well as fine Gascon meals!

Every year, a hamlet in the Condom area plays host to participants in this traditional game. The game is still played today in a few regions, so it was only natural that the Gascons invited other shuffleboard specialists to come and discover their way of playing. These world championships bring together over a hundred players of all ages to enjoy themselves. An event not to be missed for its guaranteed conviviality!

On the first Sunday in August, and even from Saturday onwards, the city of Eauze lives to the rhythm of comics through a festival that welcomes many renowned French and foreign authors every year. A key meeting place for lovers of quality bubbles, it attracts around 5,000 people and has become an essential event. In 2019, for the 28th anniversary of the festival, many confirmed artists and emerging talents will once again be present. The Festival will pay tribute to Tintin, which is celebrating its 90th anniversary this year.

Situated one hour from Agen and one and a half hours from Toulouse, Fleurance is a charming Gascon bastide town which covers 43.32 km² and has 6,419 inhabitants, making it the fourth largest town in the Gers department in terms of population (behind Auch, Condom and L'Isle Jourdain). Member of the Community of Communes of the Lomagne Gersoise and Pays Portes de Gascogne, the town is also the capital of the canton. It is a particularly dynamic city, with many festivities that make the richness and dynamism of the town: the carnival in April, the cuivros foliz in July, the Fleurance astronomy festival in August, not forgetting the very beautiful programme of the cultural season. Fleurance has also developed a remarkable economic and commercial life.

It's in mid-August, when it's perfectly gorged with sunshine, that the Lectoure melon is celebrated! A local product par excellence, this gourmet jewel deserves a tribute from the town. On the program: melon tasting during the market and election of the best producer. In the evening, the confrérie opens the festivities, and the bandas liven up the aperitif. On the menu: melon, of course, but also delicious Gascon specialities. A DJ enlivens the evening, which attracts a large number of summer visitors and Gersois faithful to this summer rendezvous.

The Feria d'Eauze maintains the tradition of bullfighting and Landes racing in an atmosphere enlivened by bandas and bodegas. Held every year on the first weekend in July, it's a not-to-be-missed event for festival-goers. Oyster sales, street food and concerts, a funfair, concerts, competitions and balls, and novilladas raise the festive tension, culminating on Sunday with the bullfight in the Nimeno II arena.

The people of Auch are now lucky enough to have their own comedy festival! With the creation of Fous Rires Gascons in 2024, audiences will be able to enjoy comedy shows for 1 month all over Auch, and even in Mirande. The program will feature renowned artists and up-and-coming talents such as Sophia Aram, Guillaume Meurice, Christine Berrou, Olivia Moore, Marie Reno, Marine Ella and magician Donovan. In 2024, the festival ends on a high note with the queen of comedy, Anne Roumanoff!

Pascal Rennié's studio in Mongausy is housed in an old barn adjoining a house. Thanks to a large bay window and numerous windows, light floods into this creative space. The space includes a large workroom, a storage area for canvases and other materials, as well as a space dedicated to the exhibition of completed works. A small reading corner, with documentation on other artists who are friends of Pascal Rennié, is the perfect complement to this charming, bright studio, where an inspiring atmosphere reigns.
