Media Aveyron

With a circulation of more than 20,000 copies, Centre Presse is the daily newspaper of the Aveyron department and the best-selling newspaper during the week. More popular in the North and Center of the department, it offers a complete treatment of local news thanks to a team of professional journalists and correspondents spread throughout the territory. Particularly proactive and dynamic, the newspaper has developed the supplement L'Aveyronnais, which highlights the personal or professional trajectory of Aveyronnais in Paris or elsewhere in the world.

CFM was founded in Caylus, in the Tarn-et-Garonne, in 1981. Supported by a group of volunteers
and enthusiasts, it is broadcast in three departments. The station has 10,000 listeners every day, with a good twenty variety or music magazine programmes, and news programmes. CFM
cultivates an identity resolutely turned towards "the country, rock and news". The radio station operates as a network, but offers local programmes in each region. In Rodez, the studio has been set up on Boulevard Gambetta and offers a 100% Aveyron morning show every morning.

The region is rich, this Progrès, which celebrated its 100th anniversary in 2011, hunts on the same lands as the Saint-Affricain. Printed in the department on 100% recycled paper, the newspaper has the "Made in Aveyron" label. Today it has a handful of professional journalists and a solid network of 80 correspondents who cover the entire distribution area (Monts Rance and Rougier, Réquistanais, Monts de Lacaune, Saint-Affricain, Larzac, Lévézou...).

The Bulletin d'Espalion is one of the oldest ducks in Aveyron. The weekly owes its longevity to its editorial line, which highlights daily life in the northern countryside of the department (as well as the Lozère and Cantalien Aubrac) and uses a rather benevolent tone. Espalion, Saint-Côme, Sébrazac, Laguiole, Saint-Geniez-d'Olt are particularly well represented. Every month, the newspaper publishes a joke in the middle of its classified ads. A little bit of humour that hits home far beyond the borders of Espalionnais.

This regional radio station based in Aveyron is the leader in the southern Massif-Central, covering in particular the entire Quercy-Rouergue region as far as Corrèze, Haute-Loire but also Hérault, Gard and Lozère. Faithful to its punchline "Totem, all the tempos of the radio", the media proposes a broad musical register and distinguishes itself by its treatment of the local current events and its emissions, some of which are now part of the radio landscape. The Aveyron news deserved to have its place on the Internet. This has been done with Média 12, which dissects the department's economic news. Created in 2008 in the premises of the Louis Querbes high school in Rodez, Radio-Temps defines itself as a "local social radio". Local and generalist, it is open to all people, all cultures and all music. The media offers news flashes, magazines, reports, sports and youth programs. For all ages and tastes.
