Specialized in the sale of pão-de-ló (a kind of cake without butter), the house was later transformed into a bar and hosts concerts during the weekend. A friendly and warm place, where you can eat and drink well! The establishment continues to sell the famous cake, produced a few kilometers from Porto, and offers many other delights to its customers. People also come here to have a tea, to buy traditional and delicatessen products and to listen to music during cultural evenings.

Not far from the Carmo church, you will discover a simple place, but with a window full of typical conventual pastries, made with egg and sugar: papo de anjo, pastel de nata, doce de castanha com ovo... You will have understood: sugar and egg are the main ingredients. Moreover, the low prices invite to the sin of greed. Let's add that the service and the welcome are smiling and tempting, which does not help to resist. But why should we? Come and visit us.

Another surprising store in Porto. In this artisanal chocolate shop with a brown and white frontage, obviously reminding the world of chocolate, the products are guaranteed of excellent quality, original and greedy. The deliciously retro packaging dresses them up. Let yourself be tempted by the dark chocolate filled with cherry compote, by the whisky truffles or by the small cakes. Smiling welcome. You will not leave empty-handed. Nice store to bring back nice gourmet souvenirs to your loved ones... or to yourself!

Gourmands and gourmands whose word chocolate already makes you salivate, run to this store, it will know how to melt you. This tiny chocolate shop opened in 2013 in rua das Flores. It's a welcoming and very cute place. In the window you will melt in front of the chocolate creations. We are conquered by the small space on the spot with its white tables and chairs, perfect for a sweet break and a small coffee, accompanied, needless to say, by a chocolate with port wine. To you the most beautiful culinary photos!

Leitaria da Quinta do Paço is a former dairy, which has been transformed into a pastry shop with specialized recipes based on milk and butter. The house has made a name for itself with its famous chocolate eclairs and the bola de berlim (a kind of sugar doughnut, possibly filled with jam or chocolate). The whipped cream is homemade and you can buy traditional butter. A greedy and calorie-laden break but when you like it, you don't count!
