Read moreThis is a 9.3 km bicycle or pedestrian path stretching from Amarante to Chapa. This section is part of the "Linha do Tâmaga" ecotour, which follows an old railway line, now out of service. Ideal for families to discover the banks of the Tâmega River. This ecotour offers beautiful views. There are benches all along the route for resting. There are also rubbish bins and fairly constant lighting when it is dark. The section of Amarante was built in 2010, there is even an extension of 12 km for the bravest.
