Read moreRun by the friendly, colorful and multilingual Cyrano Rodriguez, the Coconuts Restaurante keeps its promises of escape: you can taste a really original and delicious Indo-Portuguese fusion cuisine at far lower prices than a one-way ticket to Goa. There is something for every taste and the vegetarian variations are very tasty! The plates are generous and colorful, the desserts excellent. If you are in Leiria, this is one of the best restaurants to go to for lunch or dinner. Very good atmosphere and very friendly service.
VOLTA & MEIA
Read moreThe owners' aim was to create a space for socializing. Restaurant, tapas bar, tea room and bistro, Volta & Meia is all at once: a young, friendly and original address where you'll feel right at home. The wood-panelled decor is quite simple, except for the bar, and the owner offers a warm welcome and excellent advice. You can eat very well for very little money (the weekly menu is written on post-it notes with the drawing of the hand-made dish). Everything is homemade, and the plates are copious and delicious! Wine by the glass. The courtyard is great for sunny days.
SUBENSHI
Read moreJapanese decoration for this small restaurant installed on the edge of a canal. The chef of Subenshi has worked in great restaurants in Porto before getting down to business: the fusion of Japanese and Portuguese gastronomy! As surprising as it may seem, the result is sumptuous and succulent! The presentation is well felt and the combination of flavors very subtle. So soon left that we already want to come back. Unusual and unmissable if you are in Aveiro! Two other addresses also in Porto.
