The country offers a wide variety of landscapes, from fertile plains to verdant hills, rivers and waterfalls. Swaziland's colorful, unspoiled traditions are among the most remarkable on the African continent. The country is also home to a number of nature reserves to explore, although the Big Five are few and far between. The population is welcoming and smiling, offering a warm and friendly atmosphere to visitors. However, it is important to note that Swaziland faces social and health challenges, with a large proportion of the population living in poverty and a high prevalence of HIV/AIDS.
