In the heart of a region known for trout fishing, the restaurant serves excellent stuffed or filleted trout, but also a good leg of lamb with thyme, a Thai coconut curry with chicken, a combination of squid and hake, and many other dishes washed down with good wine. A generous family cuisine, friendly owners who also open on Sundays. The room is cosy with a beautiful fireplace that crackles in the evening. Try the trout en papillote or the filet of beef, very tender, topped with a camembert cheese flavored with Madagascar pepper. Salads, pizzas and pastas complete the menu. One comes there as well to start the day with copious breakfasts as to sip house cocktails at the hour of the aperitif. Impeccable service.
