Three days, three hundred authors and one guest of honour, animations throughout the city, meetings, conferences, exhibitions, literary awards, youth lounge and of course signing sessions, this is the formula. The fair in Limoges does not have the reputation of its briviste neighbour but, with its 60 000 visitors, it is one of the ten largest book fairs in France and is the occasion for a great deal of meetings.

The Contes en Creuse association is based in Royère-de-Vassivière, but the Paroles de Conteurs festival takes place on the island in summer. The festival features storytelling for children, as well as storytelling walks and performances for adults, known as veillées contées (storytelling evenings). Open stages give amateurs the chance to perform in front of an audience, and workshops encourage them to take their turn as storytellers. Training courses are also offered by the artists on hand. Families will be amazed by the P'tites Z'oreilles extra-curricular events!

BANDAFOLIE'S, a not-to-be-missed cultural event in Bessines-sur-Gartempe, has been celebrating music and sharing with brio for 25 years. Thanks to the commitment of 220 volunteers, a dozen international groups enliven this popular summer festival every year, usually during the week of July 14th. In July 2022, over 40,000 festival-goers vibrated to the rhythm of Bandafolie's, testifying to the growing popularity of this warm and friendly event marked by sharing and a memorable popular atmosphere. For music lovers, Bandafolie's is an event not to be missed.

As its name suggests, the Graines de rue festival showcases the street arts, especially young artists from the Limousin region and beyond. Make some noise, it's growing! Over 4 days, from Thursday to Sunday, young talent and young companies are on the program, aimed at young people and the general public, as well as professionals. Opening up the stage to the general public, between sharing, laughter, entertainment and freedom. The ^26th edition of the festival will be full of new discoveries and fun for all the family!

Roussac is a small town home to a talented artist by the name of Jean Claude Ribano. This Limousin artist has created his own venue in the countryside, called "La Grange aux Chansons". He has performed on prestigious stages, including Avignon and Belgium. Jean Claude Ribano dons the costumes of great artists such as Jacques Brel, Serge Reggiani and Leny Escudero, recreating their performances in stunning detail. He is also a songwriter, surprising audiences with his own creations. Jean Claude Ribano is an enthusiast who blazes his own trail off the beaten track of media notoriety. His shows are described as moving and arouse strong emotions in audiences.
