This brewery is very appreciated by expatriates who come here especially for a quick lunch on the go but without sacrificing pleasure! Sandwiches and salads on the menu, as well as many dishes from around the Mediterranean: falafels, tabbouleh, kebabs... Very pleasant setting, with exposed bricks. A classic for lunch and dinner. Welcome to Jean-François, in this little piece of France in the heart of Vung Tàu. A talented cook who worked for some of the most renowned houses in France before moving to Los Angeles and now here. From breakfast to dinner, you can enjoy a copious and fine meal here, cooked according to the chef's influences. Croque-monsieur, oeuf Bénédicte or pancakes to start the day, soups, paninis (homemade bread), pizzas, pasta, beef tartare or coq au vin to finish it. All accompanied by wine and closed by homemade desserts.

One of our favorite canteens in Ho Chi Minh City! This simple little restaurant is a big hit with the locals. The reason? Authentic, traditional cuisine prepared with quality ingredients. On the menu: bowls of noodles and grilled meats. Excellent bun thap cam (various pieces of grilled pork, egg rolls and rice noodles) and bun thit nuong (rice vermicelli and grilled pork). The other house specialty is bo la lot(grilled beef wrapped in a leaf), a must-try. The place is very popular in the evenings.

Open-air restaurant located not far from Ben Thanh market. Appreciated for lunch or dinner with barbecue menus: grilled beef, chicken, goat, frogs, seafood, etc., prepared in the centre of the table. Desserts are not to be despised either.

In the warm, elegant setting of a former opium refinery, Hoa Tuc offers subtle, fragrant contemporary Vietnamese cuisine. Dishes are delicately presented. Smiling, attentive service. Don't hesitate to ask the waiters for advice, as the menu is well-stocked. The restaurant also offers cooking classes. Reservations are recommended, especially at weekends. Another address is on Rue Ngô Thoi Nhiêm.

There are several branches of this establishment, but the Ben Thành branch is undoubtedly the most popular. The delicious pizzas are cooked over a wood fire using carefully selected ingredients. The artisan cheeses are made in Da Lat, the vegetables are organically grown and the cold meats are imported from Italy. Owner Yosuke Masuko is Japanese and open to all influences. The toppings are classic and sober, or adorned with exotic touches. Pizzas, but also salads and pastas... Desserts are also worth a detour.

To taste the excellent seafood that the waters of the archipelago provide in abundance, there is a small restaurant that doesn't look like much, but it does have a feast of shellfish and crustaceans (lobsters!). Don't miss also the ôc vu nang, the speciality of Côn Dao, shells in the shape of feminine appas. The prices are a little higher than elsewhere because of the strong tourist affluence but the place is clean and the welcome is nice. Unfortunately, the quality of the dishes sometimes fluctuates but, generally speaking, it is a reliable address.

A classic, awarded several times. The setting and its oriental decor are very attractive and the cuisine refined. On the menu: crab soup with coconut, spring rolls with pork, corn soup with chicken, green papaya salad with shrimps, sautéed beef with asparagus, roasted duck, etc. However, those who are adept at a more popular and spontaneous gastronomy will not share this opinion, as the establishment rather welcomes a tourist and wealthy clientele. We take place on a terrace-pergola in the open air and we let ourselves be carried by the know-how of the chef who serves an excellent Vietnamese cooking. The seafood is particularly appreciated and of an irreproachable freshness. No fuss, the menus are posted above the bar and the service is fast. Copious and tasty portions. Lobsters, oysters, whelks and shrimps, the hardest thing will be to choose! Recommended.

Very beautiful decoration in old brick walls where the grapheurs posed a superb elephant and club atmosphere for this restaurant-bar Thai lounge. The cuisine is excellent. The signature dishes feature duck or seafood. Note that the burger reigns supreme here and is available in many ways with many accompaniments. The house cocktails are famous throughout the city, as are their milkshakes. One of the best places in town, particularly recommended for dinner.

Just a stone's throw from the Saigon River in the Dong Khoi district, in the refined setting of a former library, the counter serves French, Italian and Vietnamese cuisine. Open from 6:30 am, it offers breakfasts, lunchtime menus, and a wide selection of à la carte dishes for dinner. Specialties include duck confit, salmon tournedos and delicious homemade crepes.
