Occitanie boasts a dense network of book professionals, with over 1,200 authors and translators, 280 publishing houses, 250 independent bookstores, 1,000 libraries and archives, and 330 book mediators. With a team split between Montpellier and Toulouse, the agency aims to bring together all book professionals to ensure the harmonious development of the industry in the region, and provides access to resources, animates networks and advises professionals.

The Euro-Greek-France cultural association was founded in Montpellier in 1990. It strives to promote Greek culture in all its forms: conferences, books, theatre, cinema, dances, language courses, and an animation within the Greek community. Dance courses take place at La Maison Pour Tous. The Institut des Études Occitanes de l'Hérault develops and promotes the Occitan language and culture in the département. With some thirty affiliated associations, enabling it to be present in almost every canton of the Hérault, the IEO offers Occitan language courses for adults, introductions to the language in schools, and a wide range of cultural events such as conferences, cafés Òc, exhibitions, and traditional dance and theater workshops in Occitan. The André Malraux Media Library is located in the Ile de Thau district and is part of the Sète Agglopôle media library network. Books, magazines, CDs, DVDs and games for all ages make up its documentary collection. It also offers a space for quiet study, with computer stations connected to the Internet. All year long, the place comes alive with workshops, exhibitions, conferences, shows and meetings. A return box is permanently available outside.

Opened in early 2012, the library Jean Giono is the 13 ^th of the city of Montpellier. It is built in the building that was the former winery of Gaston Bazille and then the Bonneterie usine plant in the centre of Pérols. The Montaigne media library was built on a surface of 3,000^m2 and is built on 4 levels. It is a cultural and friendly place in the heart of the Pielles district. It also offers meetings, conferences, exhibitions and shows, especially for young people.

The association Les Zarzélés is full of cultural and artistic activities, eco-citizenship and parenting. It offers many events for young and old alike: craft workshops, gardening, family cafés, teen radio, theater, discussion groups... One of the highlights of the year is the Arts and Games Festival organized in May. For fifteen years now, the association has been preparing this joyful and family event with a rich program of workshops, concerts, dances, live shows, exhibitions..

Theater, comedy shows, jazz or contemporary music concerts, film screenings, exhibitions, meetings for young audiences... Throughout its cultural season, this Balaruc center is full of events for young and old. Its program is dedicated to live shows with a beautiful artistic diversity. A performance hall, it is also a place of residence for creation, a music school, a gallery and an associative space.

The Centre International de Recherche et de Documentation Occitanes is responsible for safeguarding, understanding and promoting Occitan culture. Its missions and services are organized around two physical sites: the Mediatèca in Béziers and the Etnopòle in Pau. The Béziers Mediatèca offers free access to cultural resources and activities for anyone wishing to study Occitan culture or practice the language.

For over 45 years, this voluntary association has been welcoming newcomers and providing them with information about the town. The AVF also offers sporting, cultural and leisure activities, as well as day outings to enable you to get to know each other and discover the town and its surroundings. Walks in Béziers, strolls along the Canal and excursions in the Béziers hinterland are also organized. Finally, at the end of each month, a "pot de l'amitié" is offered to encourage exchanges between members.
