Waste collection in Nîmes is managed by Nîmes Métropole's Direction de la Collecte et du Traitement des Déchets Ménagers (DCTDM). Household waste and selective sorting are collected door-to-door by trucks belonging to service providers. Collection frequencies vary according to the typology of the sector, with household waste collected between 2 and 7 times a week and selective sorting between 1 and 2 times a week. For specific waste, there are waste collection centers where residents can drop it off.
