The origin of these knives comes from Tulle in Corrèze where an enthusiast opened his own factory of craft knives in 2004. La Cité potière is an associative ceramics store located in the heart of the city of Carcassonne. 21 artisan potters have joined together to make you discover their handmade clay creations. Each craftswoman uses a specific technique and clay. This store gathers various creations such as potteries, sculptures, jewels, decorative objects or tableware. Works made of stoneware, earthenware, and porcelain with different textures such as glazed earth, enamels on stoneware or raku firing.

Elisabeth Brenas-Pech studied at the École des Beaux-Arts in Lyon in 1967 and at the same time learned the technique of stained glass. She then opened several workshops in Carcassonne and its surroundings, and carried out numerous restorations and creations of stained glass windows in religious buildings throughout Occitania, as far as Île-de-France and Corsica. She shares her work through permanent exhibitions in her studio and throughout France. If you wish to learn in her workshop in the Aude region, she also offers discovery courses.

Clémence Keryhuel is inspired by the light and graphics of her region to go towards new artistic adventures. She created in 2018 her workshop near Carcassonne and uses different techniques for her creations and restorations, such as the traditional "lead" technique, the Tiffany technique, paintings on glass, enamel, grisaille... All projects are possible: stained glass for windows and doors, decorative objects (lanterns, mirrors...) and even furniture.

Henri Moreno, with over 30 years' experience, is the only artisan potter-modeler-ceramist in the town of Castelnaudary. Using smooth red earthenware, he creates cassoles (cassoulet dishes), as well as original works using the glazed clay technique: Occitan crosses, culinary dishes, tableware, vases, ornamental ceramics and chamotte-based kiln dishes adorn his workshop-boutique.
