It's only been open since December 2018, and frankly, it's a little coup de coeur. L'Imaginarium is a beautiful bookshop specializing in children's items, and run by the dynamic Damien Maillard. From books for younger readers to mangas and comics (which suggests that some adults will also find something to satisfy their passion!), the choice is vast, and the shelves are very well stocked! Children will also love the little reading corner. All in all, a great place!

This venerable establishment is more of an institution than a classic bookstore: indeed, for more than 140 years, the space has offered a wide range of literary references, from novels to detective stories, including comic books, books dedicated to fine arts and, of course, school books. The advice is always very wise, and Lettre et Merveilles also offers many meetings and dedications of known authors - or to discover!

It's a city institution, open since 1938! It's more than just a bookshop. Of course, you'll find a wide range of books here, all duly recommended to you. But that's not all: you'll also find stationery, art supplies, leather goods and luxury pens. It also organizes frequent meetings with various cultural players: a very nice place.

This pretty, friendly shop offers thousands of second-hand books. In addition to being a great place for recycling - and therefore respecting the environment - the place is totally atypical: you enter as if in a small apartment where decorative objects mingle with books, in a cheerful bazaar that is in fact carefully organized. Please note that the store doesn't take back your old books: here, we only offer quality works in a wide range of literary fields. We love it!

You'll have to climb a few steps - 23 and no more - to reach this little nugget. In this independent bookshop, shelves and tables are overflowing with books selected with passion. Young and old alike will find what they're looking for in the wide selection of titles. And if you need any advice, don't hesitate to approach the bookseller; you'll be warmly and competently guided through the multitude of books on offer. And keep an eye out for book signings and other events.

This Auvers-sur-Oise institution was moved a few months ago to the Place de la Gare, allowing it to be placed along the Chemin des Peintres. The Caverne aux livres - since it is indeed the Caverne aux livres - has existed for more than 30 years, and it is impossible not to know someone who frequents it here: in old wagons are indeed numerous shelves containing hundreds of second-hand books. This unique place welcomes the public from Thursday to Sunday, and offers references covering a wide range of topics.
