GARE DE TAVERNY
Read moreIt's probably the most beautiful station in the Val Parisis conurbation: Taverny's half-timbered facade is topped by a small turret with a clock, giving the whole a Norman feel, reminding us that this region is only a few dozen kilometers away! On a daily basis, Taverny station is served by Transilien line H trains, taking you to the French capital in around half an hour. The station is served by buses to the surrounding districts, and parking spaces are available.
GARE D'ERMONT EAUBONNE
Read moreCompletely renovated in the 2010s, the station is modern and boasts a number of shops: Ermont-Eaubonne station, on the border of the two communes, is one of the main transport hubs of the Val Parisis conurbation. In addition to a large bus station, the railway station is served by three lines: the RER C to Paris from the west, the H line to Gare Saint-Lazare and the H line to Gare du Nord. The modern infrastructure also includes a number of shops.
GARE DE MONTIGNY-BEAUCHAMP
Read moreStraddling the communes of Montigny, Beauchamp and Pierrelaye, the station is served by trains on the H line, as well as by the RER C, providing easy access to the west and north of the Val-d'Oise, as well as to Paris from the north and west. Accessible to people with reduced mobility following extensive renovation work, it is very busy and is one of the communication hubs of the Val Parisis conurbation, being also served by local buses.
GARE DE FREPILLON
Read moreLocated between the Bessancourt and Méry-sur-Oise stations, the Frépillon station serves the town of the same name. Served by the H line, which links a large part of the Val Parisis conurbation to the Gare du Nord in Paris, the Frépillon stop is just a few dozen meters from the heart of the town. During rush hour, a train (from Persan-Beaumont) runs to the capital every 15 minutes, and a little less during off-peak hours. There are also several bus routes.
GARE D'ERMONT HALTE
Read moreThis is one of Ermont's three train stations: while not the largest, it nevertheless enhances the town's excellent rail connections. Located in the eponymous rue, the station is served by trains on the H line, linking Valmondois to Gare du Nord - the latter can be reached in around half an hour. Situated between the Gros-Noyer Saint-Prix and Ermont-Eaubonne stations, it is accessible to people with reduced mobility, and has a parking lot and drop-off area that are very popular at peak times.
GARE DE CERNAY
Read moreServed by two lines, one RER, the other Transilien, Cernay station serves the district of the same name in the south of Ermont. Between Ermont-Eaubonne and Franconville - Le Plessis-Bouchard stations, it takes an average of 25 minutes to reach Gare du Nord, and around 30 minutes to reach Porte de Clichy. Overlooking the departmental road, it has a parking lot with around 40 spaces. Served by several dozen trains a day, it is less busy than its two neighbors.
GARE DE PIERRELAYE
Read morePierrelaye station is served by several dozen trains a day, and is crossed by lines C and H. The former provides access to Paris from the west, via Porte de Clichy, the Eiffel Tower and Gare d'Austerlitz. The second runs to Gare du Nord, crossing much of the Val Parisis conurbation. Intermodal, the site is also linked to the city's neighborhoods by an efficient bus network. Finally, a parking lot is located close to the reception building.
GARE DE VAUCELLES
Read moreBetween Taverny and Saint-Leu-la-Forêt stations, the small Vaucelles station is served by trains on the H line. The building was renovated around ten years ago, and there's a ticket office where you can buy your ticket. Every day, between 5 a.m. and around 11 p.m., dozens of trains take you to Valmondois in one direction, and Ermont-Eaubonne and Gare du Nord in the other. This is the second station in Taverny, serving this part of the town. A small parking lot is located nearby.
GARE DE BESSANCOURT
Read moreBetween the Frépillon and Taverny stations lies the Gare de Bessancourt, serving the town of the same name. The Transilien H line passes through here, providing an efficient connection to Paris's Gare du Nord (about 40 minutes). Although the station building is no longer directly accessible, self-service ticket machines are available. There's a small parking lot in front of the station, and it's also linked to other districts and towns in the area by a bus network.
