In the south of the department, this greenway promises pleasant moments sporting facilities. Over 5 mi in the valley of the small Chalouette river, it is built on an old elevated railway and somehow shaded. The track, rebuilt there is less than 10 years, is of very good: you can choose between walking, jogging, cycling, in-line skating or! Not crossing the road, the course is particularly secure: we particularly recommend it for families.

At the departure of the tourist office, the walking walk will take you to the Boiling Fountains, a few kilometres away. First join the shores of barley and climb through to the D 836. Then turn right until you see the rue du Mesnil, on which you will commit. It continues through the Middle Road, which you will follow to the destination. To get back to a good port, you can go along the barley, before you reach the Rue du Mesnil.

With its 2000 years of history, the city has a lot to tell us! From the tourist office, you are therefore preparing to travel only 2 small kilometres, to discover the built heritage of the town. From Place Aristide-Briand to the Hôtel de Ville, via the Portes de Chartres and Paris, the first part of the route already looks very promising. But it is not over: then go to the hall via the remains of the old church, then to the Hôtel-Dieu. You have almost returned to your starting point, but a last detour is required by the rue de l'Abbé-Fèvre, then by the rue de l'Abbé-Gérard.

Welcome to the largest public garden in Essonne - and what a garden! Thanks to its 98 hectares of greenery and its very rich historical and landscape heritage, the Domaine départemental de Chamarande is now certified as a "remarkable garden". Formerly the original home of the Scout movement in France, it then served as a workers' production cooperative and then as a grouping of associations in the 1970s. 13 kilometres southwest of Paris, the Verrières-le-Buisson national forest extends over both the Essonne and Hauts-de-Seine regions. From the office in the heart of the town, you first head for the orientation table, almost at the entrance to the woods. This loop of about ten kilometres then evolves in the middle of oaks, chestnuts, ash trees, hornbeams and birches; perhaps you will also meet some rabbits, field mice and other weasels... Back in Verrières-le-Buisson, take the time to explore the city and its rich architectural heritage. The Château des Vilmorin, the Château Régnier, the Domaine Vaillant or the Notre-Dame-de-l'Assomption church are on your way; a great opportunity to enhance your walk with a little culture!

Here a greenway which links the necessary for a pleasant one! It presents not only ideal setting to be spent on foot or by bike, but it has the biggest advantage of facilitates arrangements if you need to connect to Savigny-sur-Orge Laugh - Orangis, or vice versa. Nature will be grateful to you! Its creamy coating will also allow the skates and skateboards to evolve in good conditions. The only downside finally, will be the presence of baffles a little too small to the intersections, not very practical for two-wheeled vehicles.
