The multimedia cultural centre replaced the municipal library on the first floor of the City Hall. This space is the result of a remarkable rehabilitation of the old abbey mill, the big tower. 1 000 m 2 is spread over 4 levels, three of which are open to the public. A great deal of clarity floods these 3 spaces with small lounges overlooking the garden. The multimedia cultural centre retains the old fund, rich in about 11 000 books: beautiful editions of Byzantine historians, stories of illustrated travel, superb documents of natural sciences and rare music. The old and contemporary local fund makes it possible to search the city and the Norman region. The adult and youth public reading fund is rich in about 15 000 books. In addition, there are multimedia posts that allow for the consultation of CD-roms and access to cultural or documentary websites, in ADSL technology.

Association Al2e is a secular, apolitical association based in Évreux. Founded in 2017, it has over 700 members and works daily in the Nétreville and Clos au Duc neighborhoods. The association defends the values of sharing, solidarity, secularism and citizenship.
