The Fête du bijou is a much-anticipated event held in Ath Yenni, 35 km from Tizi-Ouzou. For its 13th edition, the festival is focusing on the theme "Ath Yenni jewelry, ancestral heritage and today's demands". In addition to traditional Kabyle jewelry, other craft specialties such as basketry, embroidery, pottery, carpets and traditional dress are also on display. The event also includes an exhibition and sale of jewelry and other craft products, an information day for craftspeople and a conference on the theme of this year's edition. The Jewellery Festival is an opportunity for craftspeople to raise their concerns with officials and promote their craft.
