This pleasant, welcoming terrace restaurant is an excellent place to stop for a drink or a bite to eat. Here you can choose between pizzas fresh from the wood-fired oven (also available to take away), unquestionably the best on the island, and Mediterranean specialties à la carte. Fish and seafood are well prepared. We really enjoyed the octopus tartare and the clams with curry, a real treat. Some fine meat dishes, such as the lamb curry, complete the menu. With a good glass of wine, what more could you ask for?

Here is an enchanting setting, an idyllic picture facing Grosse Roche in a delightful room open to the four winds where you can enjoy fish dishes just out of the nets and finely worked by the adorable chef Joël Confait. If the prices are not cheap, the quality is there and, for the romantics, the few tables placed on a small natural dike will be perfect, but it is better to reserve. You can also just come and have a drink and enjoy one of the most beautiful sunsets of the island.

Le Mabuya (which has taken the place of the legendary Bonbon Plume) is first and foremost a superb colonial-style structure made of local wood, where it's been a pleasure to sit down since October 2022. Here, you can enjoy a delicious vitamin break with cocktails (with or without alcohol) made from fresh fruit juices, which have quickly earned a good reputation, as well as a fine menu featuring vegan and gluten-free dishes alongside tuna tataki and fish ceviche. At sunset, the picture is even more grandiose!

Warm atmosphere under this beautiful and large garden hut with leaves from the mythical Vallée de Mai. You can add a service of almost European efficiency to the daily beautiful buffet and you will realise that this restaurant deserves laurels. At grills, the king of grilled fish, Edwin, the boss, who is also a sea champion. Diving, fishing, excursions: the pink guy must have drifted well on water before anchoring a little on land, for the love of a beautiful blonde woman, a Belgian named Sybille, who does not keep his forces to make his business work, successful, because we are right now in one of the two best reference restaurants of Côte d'Or. It is also better to make a reservation even on weekdays. In the afternoon, you can sit at a table around an ice cream, a cake or a fresh fruit juice.

Under this romantic straw hut, with a view of the illuminated pool and the garden, "châtelains" and visiting gourmets enjoy a unique menu. Job tartar, tuna marinated in island fruits, grilled giraffe crab, lobster in garlic butter or captain in coconut milk... The two Seychellois chefs Keiran and Damien do wonders. In the cellar, some great wines, from saint-émilion to château-neuf-du-pape and from chablis premier cru to Ruinart. As for the atmosphere, it can be described as casual chic. An excellent address.

Ideal for lunch between two swims in a real restaurant or for dinner in an intimate setting, here the ocean view is pleasant, the service attentive and the food excellent. Special mention should be made of the octopus curry with coconut milk or the fresh fish brochettes with lemon shrimp. On the sweet side, gourmets will fall head over heels for the chocolate fondant. A fine wine list too. On Friday evenings, La Pirogue offers live music. An excellent address that makes you want to come back more than once.

This typical restaurant, in the heart of Baie Sainte-Anne, serves as a take-away all day long (convenient on the road between two excursions) and offers a nice menu at nightfall. When you want to have a quick and cheap lunch, why not do like a Seselwa, i.e. eat in a basket: kari koko bef, grilled fish bourzwa, pork stew and you can sit on the other side of the road, facing the sea. In the evening, it's barbecue time for good grills and other Creole specialties. A nice address.

La Goulue is always a hit, right in the middle of the tourist area, on the road to Côte d'Or. From bat curry to pepper-cream-cognac steak and from beefburger to fishburger, what a mix of simple dishes with all kinds of sauces, both Creole and French. The tables on the terrace are very popular with French tourists, who make up the bulk of the clientele. The atmosphere is always very friendly, as is evident from the many praises in the appreciation book, where it is written that "Chez la Goulue, c'est vachement goûtu" (Chez la Goulue, it's really tasty).

If the evening buffet (575 SR) is mainly for guests of the Paradise Sun Hotel, coming to lunch under the straw hut of Saint-Pierre overlooking the beach is a real good idea. Of course, the view, especially on the Saint-Pierre islet, is sublime, but the simple and well-made dishes (pizzas, pastas, burgers and of course some Creole specialties) also offer a very competitive quality/price ratio.
