We dine here with our feet in the sand. Courteous and professional service. Remember to book in high season.

LARN TA CHU STEAKHOUSE
Read moreThe city's most popular restaurant. In a modern setting with high ceilings, a wide variety of dishes are offered: beef steaks, barbecued pork ribs, and many grilled meats. The menu is varied: pasta, fish and seafood, pizzas... Not to mention a range of highly successful traditional Thai recipes. Beer and wine are also served. The staff speak little English, but the service is friendly. The main attraction of the place is its pleasant riverside terrace.
CHAO LAY SEAFOOD
Read moreInstalled on stilts, the "People of the Sea" restaurant is of course specialized in fish and shellfish. Good local reputation... The atmosphere is closer to that of a canteen than a big restaurant. Beautiful terrace overlooking the beach. The fish is cooked to perfection. The large number of customers suggests that the products are very fresh, which is very positive. On the other hand, we noticed a certain carelessness concerning the service on certain evenings. It's a pity that the prices are a bit prohibitive.

You can choose to be served in a well laid out garden, on the terrace of the pavilion with its Lanna style architecture, or in an air-conditioned room. The view is magnificent: the restaurant overlooks the beach and the hill where the Khao Takiab temple stands. A place to visit mainly for its very charming setting.
LUCKY CRAB
Read moreThis friendly restaurant is located not far from the landing stage, on the main street (crossing the village from west to east). The menu is varied and international, with an emphasis on seafood, particularly... crab! Traditional Thai recipes are well executed. The fish are fresh and tasty. The service is pleasant but sometimes a bit long. Reasonable prices.
