Patrick, a Frenchman who has lived in Menorca for many years, offers French specialties combined with local produce. The menu varies according to the season... and the imagination of the chef, always ready to explore new trends. Some suggestions? Duck confit with orange and carrot purée with cumin, aubergine-tomato crumble, vegetable Tarte Tatin... The place is very pleasant, starting with the terrace-pergola open in summer. In winter, it's best to head for the welcoming indoor lounge. Excellent wine cellar. We love it.

Ca'n Santi, which has been serving continuously from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. for more than 40 years now, is an address that stands out a little among the tourist restaurants on the promenade. You can enjoy good seafood and excellent paellas that are particularly well-stocked, but also some simple snack dishes and children's menus. The service is pleasant and the prices reasonable, and the restaurant's terraces offer a beautiful view of the blue horizon. Simple and efficient.

The very first restaurant in the prestigious eponymous restaurant group, Ses Forquilles has been serving East End gourmets for almost two decades now! In 2021, the cosmopolitan tavern may have moved to the premises of the Cristine Bedfor boutique-hotel (with independent access) to enjoy a more functional and luminous setting, but the preparations and welcome remain unchanged! Chefs Marco Collado and Oriol Castell continue to work creatively with local produce from the sea and land, producing results that are not lacking in character!

Here's a smart little address just the way we like it! Opposite the fish market, this bistro, announced by a few stand-up barrels placed right on the street, has the charm of the old and the audacity of the new! It operates according to a well-thought-out combo: a short menu of fixed specialties ("les incontournables"), a slate that changes according to market produce and top-quality wines, including a collection of natural wines. The crockery is motley, vintage, the service warm and friendly, the flavors subtle. We just love it!

Run by a small group of Minorcan friends, Sa Petita des Claustre is located in the cloister, under the arches. Behind its wooden storefront, they prepare salads, cakes, soups, savory and sweet tarts, bowls and other healthy dishes at very good prices! Everyone gathers here at lunchtime, local workers and tourists alike, both for the good humor of the owners and for the simplicity and quality of the products. The location of Ses Culleres is also quite fabulous, as it is situated in the emblematic Marès building and boasts a sensational terrace overlooking the port of Maó!
