This is a good compromise because the hotel is slightly eccentric of the animation around Duval Street. The city centre, in a few minutes'walk from the hotel, can be reached in a few minutes. In this huge area all white dressed, the rooms are small, comfortable, nicely decorated, although a little dark. In the public areas, a small lounge area and a library are available. Built in 1889, this impressive Creole house is one of the best addresses of Key West, located in the quiet part of the old town. A small staircase connects each of the three floors, each time through huge wooden terraces where sofas invite to idleness. Each room has a kitchenette, a very stylish water room with antique and sculpted washbasins, as well as TV. The exoticism of the 1930 s or 1940 s reigns here, with wooden furniture such as the enormous comfort of rooms, or the cosy and arched side of queen-size beds. Adjoining this residence, in the middle of the tropical garden where breakfast is served every morning, the owners have rehabilitated a former cigar factory, which has all the pirate look with its bare wooden facades. Hidden in this lush vegetation, among bougainvillea and palm trees, a magnificent swimming pool whose bottom represents a crocodile. Relax is absolutely recommended at the solarium, whose access lies at the back of the building by the last staircase: The view on all the roofs of Key West is captivating.

If it does not pay a mine from the outside, Banana Bay is a hidden treasure of Marathon, and you understand it as soon as you entered this hotel, originally erected to accommodate wealthy fishermen in the 1950 s. Surrounded by sausage trees and palm trees, a small set of two buildings surrounds a swimming pool directly on the beach. The rooms are of correct size. They all have a coffee machine and air conditioning. A barbecue area has been set up and it is possible to rent bikes and canoes at the reception.

This Victorian style tourist complex, very nice, has three swimming pools and a whirlpool. Breakfast is included. Children are not allowed. The hotel has several buildings, including beautiful Victorian architecture cottages Typical West and a main building, the Historic Inn, originally a Cuban cigar manufacturer (1880). Some rooms are embellished with a mezzanine, all are decorated differently, very elegant, where the white of the linen objects to the furniture brown wood. The Manor House, a former restored house of fire, offers rooms with private swimming pools. Very beautiful address of its kind.

The hotel is located in Angela Street, a quiet street at the corner of Duval Street. The rooms, decorated in exotic style, are very charming and are very comfortable.
