Read moreThe Cité des Enfants is divided into two distinct spaces for 2 to 7 year olds and 5 to 12 year olds. The section dedicated to "little ones", i.e. children who are not yet reading, is organized into five spaces: "I discover myself", "I know how to do", "I find myself", "All together", focused on the development of the child, and "I experiment" devoted to the first scientific discoveries. She tackles new subjects such as emotion and social identity, understanding images and the representation and construction of space. Water, air and light are materials in the first steps of our budding researchers, while installations and sculptures promote their artistic development. But let us be reassured! the construction site, the ball machine, the stream, the raised hand, all these "must" that made the success of the Children's City, do indeed have their place in this Children's City dedicated to 2 to 7 years old!
The 5 to 12 year old space is an adventure area of more than 2,000 square metres that requires the energy, curiosity, attention and multiple talents that this age group has to offer. Six playgrounds are available. Children can go where they want, how they want, and have 1 hour and a half, the duration of the session, to explore all or part of the area.
