A para-government organization for the promotion of trade and investment between France and Japan, the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) is a non-profit organization under the supervision of the Ministry of International Trade and Industry (the famous and all-powerful MITI) and created in 1958 to foster economic relations between Japan and the rest of the world.
