Wood chiselled everywhere, red velvet, bevelled mirrors... and a ballroom floor where it is so good to dance! The Cabaret Sauvage is the offspring of the Magic Mirrors, which occupied the same venue in the Parc de La Villette for a while. The Cabaret Sauvage hosts artists from all musical backgrounds, with a predilection for rock, reggae, jazz and chanson. If Goran Bregovic, Khaled, Keren Ann, M, Bratsch, Les Wampas, PJ Harvey or Arno have played here, it is not by chance.

This old lady, looking like a Chinese pagoda, has been indefatigable for 150 years. The rounded concert hall, lined with small round tables and red stools, also doubles as a dancefloor. The Bataclan offers an eclectic program and a wide range of evening events. It has long been a mecca for concerts, dancing, joy and laughter. Following the tragic events of 2015, the Bataclan underwent extensive renovation, proving that life goes on, and has resumed its programming with unfailing zest.

Located on the banks of the Seine, the AccorHotels Arena is a modular pyramid-shaped venue with a capacity of up to 17,000 spectators. Well-known as "Bercy", it can be configured in 30 different ways to host sporting events - basketball, tennis, horse-riding, motocross and water sports - as well as meetings, concerts and special-effects shows. A must-see venue in the capital for anyone wishing to attend an exceptional event and enjoy a quality experience.

This concert hall was not destined to last: it has been in existence for almost 40 years. And the Zenith is so successful that it has "copies" all over France, in Strasbourg, Nantes, Orléans: there are over twenty of them today! Le Zénith is a must-see venue in the capital and the region, and not a single successful artist passes by this venue, which is one of the largest in the region. Modular - that was the novelty at the time - the building seems to have been erected only recently, so much has it not aged.

As its name indicates, the Palais des Congrès is a site where congresses and other events related to the economy are held. It was built for the Paris Chamber of Commerce and Industry in 1974, enlarged and renovated in 1999. With three thousand seven hundred and twenty-three squares, without balcony, its Grand Amphitheater is designed to ensure perfect visibility for all spectators. In addition to the major economic gatherings, musicals and musical standards are offered. In short, no punk, but safe values. Attention to motorists: the immense work of the RER E makes access sometimes painful.

Bobino is a name cherished of in love with the variety. With the original, it is that of a clown of the beginnings of the 19th century. Several rooms were built successively on the same site, starting with that of the Bobino Madnesses in 1873. Of cabaret, it became café concert then variety. As from the years 1950, Bobino competes with Olympia. This theater accommodates Georges Brassens, Joséphine Baker, Edith Piaf, Juliette Gréco, Serge Reggiani, Fernandel, Jacques Brel, Barbara, Léo Ferré, Georges Moustaki, Michel Sardou, Claude Nougaro, Renaud, Charles Aznavour, Thierry Le Luron, Coluche, Guy Bedos and of innumerable other stars. The room closes in 1983 and is demolished. But the show continues in a new space. In 1991, the Bobino Studio takes over and displays humorous concerts and shows, in particular under the direction of Philippe Bouvard. Taken again by Gérard Louvin, the room takes the name of Bobin' O of 2007 to 2009. One cumulates there in a new way of the activities of cabaret, restaurant, lounge bar and club. With the re-entry 2009, Bobino found its statute of room of variety with its eight hundred places.

The Trabendo is located in one of the small red buildings built in the Parc de La Villette. Park historians may remember the first venue here, but Trabendo has quickly swept the past under the carpet. Since 2000, this seven-hundred-seat venue has continued to expand its program: Manu Chao, Calexico, The Neptunes and Bugge Wesseltoft have all played here. Note: the murals are signed by Futura 2000, a historic figure in New York graffiti. And the word "trabendo" comes from contrabando, Spanish for contraband: quite a program.

Located in an old small factory, this location in Ménilmontant can contain three hundred and fifty people. The room has a mezzanine. The musical program is eclectic and quality. The following went: Magic Malik, Cheikh Tidiane Seck, Katerine, Louis Bertignac, Omar Sosa, Gabriel Yaqoop… Film projections are also organized. It is one of the most atypical halls in the capital, a place where listening music to the mezzanine bar becomes an electrifying experience.

Pan Piper is a great place, with a diverse musical program that embraces the whole world: Celtic music, samba, hip-hop, reggae, electro and more. The address is gradually expanding, and it's exactly the place to get away from it all. The place, which is not lacking in assets, also offers Pan Cooker, a great takeaway service. The place is also a caterer and can be privatized for your private events, which can accommodate up to 900 people.

The rather massive Palais de la Mutualité was built in 1931. It features a number of spaces that can accommodate both banquets and political meetings. On certain evenings, its large, balconyed hall, seating eighteen hundred and fifty, hosts concerts of all kinds. The hall, named Edouard-Hériot, has already welcomed a number of renowned artists and hopes to do so again in the years to come, and its 2012 Art Deco renovation by Jean-Michel Wilmotte should open up new prospects.

Decorated with the paquebots of the 1930 s, this boat with terrace has one of the most beautiful situations in the world: It is in fact the cathedral of Notre-Dame de Paris. It offers concerts of groove, jazz, Brazilian music, reggae or songs. If you are a budding musician and you want to carry out a concert (or another event), you can privatize the place and can bring up to 120 people! A good address to discover.

Walls and red armchairs arranged in a circle: L'Européen is the perfect setting for listening to artists in the field of French chanson, world music, jazz or rock. The 350-seat venue is a former café-concert dating back to 1872: Fragson, Yvette Guilbert and Edith Piaf all performed here. In the 1950s, operettas were performed here. It was also home to the Théâtre en Rond, run by directors and actors keen to return to the original Greek forms of theater - an aesthetic "opposed" to Italian-style theater.

The Claude-Levi-Strauss theatre is the auditorium of the Musée du quai Du. Inaugurated in 2006, this museum presents art collections from Africa, Oceania, Asia and America. The building is signed by Jean Nouvel. A room of three hundred or ninety or four hundred and eighty-three places, depending on the configuration, shows shows in connection with the contents of the collections or temporary exhibitions and concerts of a wide variety, given for one hour a month at 16 h or 18 h. There are also children's shows, as well as lectures from popular university types. There is also a cinema room with seats.

This concert hall is not devoid of charm, with its subdued lighting and rather intimate atmosphere, is a place where the public and the artists can easily mix and even share a drink. The programming, which is predominantly contemporary music, is very eclectic: pop, rock, reggae or funk. La Maroquinerie is very socially involved: it sometimes organizes concerts for noble causes or unusual festivals. La Maroquinerie also has excellent acoustics, which makes it possible to fully appreciate the bands that perform there. La station is first and foremost a party place like few others in Paris: here you can shout in the open air (we won't disturb anyone), sing, dance until late, listen to loud music, and above all, excellent music.
