The Forum des images is a 6,000 m² space located in the heart of Paris, in the Westfield Forum des Halles. It offers a varied program of films, debates and meetings with film-makers. The Forum des images also plays an essential role in image education, hosting some 40 events for young audiences every year. Founded in 1988, its mission is to celebrate cinema and moving images. To get to the Forum des images, take the metro (Les Halles or Châtelet stations), the RER (Châtelet-Les Halles station) or the bus (Coquillières Les Halles stop).

Wednesday and Saturday at 3pm. Rates: adults €5, children less than 12 years €4. Le Forum des Images plays, since 1998, a crucial role as regards education with the image in Paris and in Ile-de-France by receiving each year nearly forty thousand children of all ages which take part in the educational actions, in family or time pupils. Every Wednesday and Saturday at 3pm, ticket with the children! A session especially conceived for them is articulated around a film presented by a guest, follow-up of a debate and an afternoon snack. To offer to the more young people all the pleasure of the discovery, in their proposer, of the films of all the countries, all the times, all the kinds. The classics of the adventure alternate with the cartoon films, the cinema of contemporary author with the silent films, the sessions “toddlers cinema” for the children as from 18 months with exceptional cinema-concerts or sessions tells and cinema… At 2pm, in the Room of the Collections, the children are each Wednesday not forgotten. Films and games multimedia are proposed all year to the grass film enthusiasts. Puzzles, games of sound, of assembly, and quizzes sets of themes, the cinema-games invite to a ludic and teaching travel in the middle of the cinema.

Un lieu de culture et de partage en plein Paris (dans le forum des halles). Programmation intéressante. Sans cesse des événements et des activités pour tous les âges. Excellent !
