Completely refurbished, this old café de la rue de Shower has taken on all the colours. He now proudly displays the names of the most famous artists on his walls - large letters in yellow, blue and red. While all the tourists rush to the terraces of Pigalle and Montmartre, trying in vain to relive the crazy atmosphere that reigned there at the beginning of the 20th century, people up to their time meet near the canals, from Belleville to La Villette: welcome to Café Chérie! The place is very nice and the decoration too, there are always people, music is very often present (especially from Thursday, with pretty discoveries at stake) and cheap drinks. We go there on Saturday nights to dance until dawn... or at any time! If you have some energy left after a day, for example, after visiting La Villette!

First of all, you'll be seduced by the appearance of this theatre on a boulevard with a lot of land. And inside, in this Italian room of 630 places, the charm continues. The theatre des Batignolles was opened in 1838. He became the Theatre of the Arts in 1907 and then took the name of his new director in 1940. A playwright and journalist, Jacques Hébertot already directed the Théâtre-Elysées theatre from 1920 to 1924. In 1946, during a large renovation of the theatre, the staircase ramps installed on the sides of the building and the letters H appeared throughout the site. Other notable productions: The two-head Eagle, from Jean Cocteau with Edwige Feuillère and Jean Marais, Les Juste, by Albert Camus, with Serge Reggiani, Green Queen, Maurice Béjart comédie with Maria Casarès and Jean Babilée, this strange animal, Gabriel Arout, according to Tchékhov, with Delphine Seyrig and Jean Rochefort.

After Jacques Hébertot's death in 1970, Jean-Claude Brialy was run in the theatre. In 2003, Danièle and Pierre Franck were at his head. At the end of 2013 Francis Lombrail became the new theatre director.

Among the pieces that have been seen in recent years, note: Less 2, of Samuel Benchetrit with Jean-Louis Trintignant, stage exit, of Nicolas Bedos, with Guy Bedos, The King is dying, of Eugène Ionesco…

Note that the room was renovated in 2010. The second room, the Petit Hébertot, is led by Xavier Jaillard.

In the Frog family, I ask the British Library! In the heart of the 13 th arrondissement of Paris, this évocateur hotel is a British pub (with English servers) and a high-end Parisian brewery. The unlikely mixture of these two worlds works. Like its large "sisters" located in Bercy, Mabillon or Etienne-Marcel, you will find good homemade beers (the decoration will remind you) and you can follow football matches some evenings. This bar - not the most intimate bar - has the merit of inspiring this new quarter of the capital.

Before, the Rocket was called At Ariane, let's know why. For a long time in all cases this place has taken off, always full of openness to the closing of a whole bunch of smiling young men and relax whose many people are suspected of being used to the place. It's warm, sit where you are, on a partially occupied wooden table, or quiet in the shade of an orange wall, close to a book shelf available. The long wooden bar welcomes approximately thirty simultaneous discussions involving the bartender. We would like to be friends with the waitresses and it would be wrong to miss the Sunday night concerts, just to see how it is when everyone is silent. Large heated terrace and sunny winter, sunny summer.

Small coffee, right next to Killiwatch, in the stylish shopping area. Attended by a whole bunch of very connected people who find themselves here before going out, Le Café could be terribly unbearable and enough to see me. And not at all. With its th century déco and cabinet cabinet, this is one of the most pleasant addresses in the area. There's a mêle of mappemondes, pretty ladies, African statues, gorgeous cute kids, old maps of géo in elementary school, buried butterflies… All under the high patronage of the bacchanale fresco that orne the ceiling. We are welcome, we eat traditional cuisine. The terrace is perfect for watching the hand bags and other shopping bags that leave the area.

It's a legendary venue where some of the greatest names in jazz have performed, starting with Art Blakey on the night it opened in 1981. Chet Baker, Stan Getz, Dexter Gordon, Dizzie Gillespie and many others followed. This is one of Paris's must-see venues for music lovers. The place has long been associated with jazz, and it's true that it plays a lot of it. But it's not the only one, as in recent years the venue has also offered blues, rock and quite a few young artists who we imagine to be very promising.

This is a bar you love. Under its appearance as a great Celtic pub, it hides a maxi temple of pop, mini club free of charge, where the prestigious and inventive DJs - Bloc Party, Pulp, Belle & Sebastian have passed. Fans of New Order, Franz Ferdinand, The Rapture, you are here at home. Two rooms separated by the bar are the place. On the entrance side, we're standing up around the bar or sitting in front of the projections of the day, in the middle of a large proportion of the regulars, pretty young and lookés pop. On the other side, we're dancing in front of the DJ's cab to beg to pass its favorite piece, it looks like the London subway at peak times, the music is in addition. There are numerous evenings and frequent concerts. The Truskel is just one of the best pop/rock bars in the capital.

It is a cafe where you can quietly read, chat with friends and where you can take some fresh air on the terrace or inside, in a setting of the 1950s, when Formica and its colours replaced the dull wood, which was sad to the eyes of some people. The Rouquet is a historic brewery in Saint-Germain that has kept its side that is today known as kitsch. Even though the dishes are rather fresh, its prices à la carte are not cheap but it is also the charm of the boulevard.

The two rooms in this archipelago located in the heart of the 10 th arrondissement have beautiful hours in front of them. Since 2001, the establishment has been offering programming very related to music, live shows and animation cinema. All the arts are represented. And say that in 1893, this place was called "The Concert of the Japanese City" and was a popular coffee-concert, where Maurice Chevalier or Maxime Lisbon took Place in their early stages. It was only in 1911 that the room turned into cinema. The "Paris-Cinéma" was born and kept this name until 2001… From silent to speaking, through today's shows: this is a territory not to be missed…

Welcome to the temple of real art lovers, between cinema students and nostalgic for modern cinema. Former famous cabaret of the Latin Quarter who lives among others, it was in 1957 that this unique hall of 125 places became a cinema. First named Studio Cujas before being called Accattone, in reference to Pier Paolo Pasolini's first film, this film offers daily films of yesterday and today. On the spot also: a bookstore, a gallery and a bar to speak travelling and fondus. Be careful at the seats in the room: most of them have names of great personalities… In sum, a place that smells the Dolce Vita…

There are three rooms at this address: XXL - 345 seats -, XL - 96 seats - and Le Lab - 90 seats - as well as rehearsal studios. Various companies present their shows. The history of the Ménilmontant theatre dates back to 1877 when two halls in the area are successively open for Saint Peter's patronage and the Salésiens fathers. There are numerous performances of children, teenagers and adults. Then there are "Passions", "Mysteries", "Mystères" sessions and "light projections", patriotic pieces, comedy, drama, lyrical performances, operettas… The current address was inaugurated in 1929. A former mentor, actor Georges Chamarat, is assembling pieces. In 1932, Passion was created in Ménilmontant, a show played by residents of the neighborhood who enjoyed a long success. In 1958, before founding the Théâtre de l'Est Paris, Guy Rétoré and his Guild settled in this theatre to which they gave their name today. The NPT of Jean Vilar also plays there. From the 1970 s, the Théâtre theatre opened to the song: Félix Leclerc, Graeme Allwright, Mouloudji… In 1979, a Théâtre Theatre Workshop was launched. And the adventure still continues today. This place must have grace!

How does one of the last few Parisian sex clubs come to the full, including in August, while many local bars attend without the disaffection of their customers? Perhaps because here many things are radically wrong with what we are accustomed to elsewhere. First, the reception is not extravagant, but sober, humble and professional. Then Francis, the boss, doesn't grow to consumption (only one glass is enough to take advantage of the place) and everyone is housed in the same sign, without discrimination. Finally, prices are low, and even very low. And as a bonus, smokers have a cabin at their disposal. Don't forget that Rafael at the cloakroom is really very pleasant to watch. Yet, at the opening, none would have bet a penny on the success of this place, so it is close to Full Metal and HQ (now the Krash). Today, he has created a clientele of regulars with many visitors from province and abroad. It is small and therefore conducive to fast and free approaches. Bar on the ground floor, then 2 basements for fun, some cabins and a cross of Saint André. Every Saturday, from 15 p. m., «Leather and Slavic afternoon», every Sunday, Snike and Piss afternoon… You are warned!

There were several entertainment establishments since 1817, on the site where the current room - seven hundred square places - was built in 1886. She was marked by the period during which Gaston Baty led her, from 1930 to 1943. He set up classics and opened his stage to productions such as the'Opera, by Bertolt Brecht and Kurt Weill. In the following years, the Montparnasse theatre will allow many Anglo-Saxon authors to make themselves known in France: Peter Schaffer, Arnold Wesker, Noël Coward, Harold Pinter, Murray Schisgal… Myriam de Colombi has been leading the room since 1984. Among the shows she presented to us are: The Night Watchman, by Sacha Guitry, with Yasmina Reza and Fabrice Luchini, Le Secret, with Anny Duperey, Pierre Vaneck and Fabrice Luchini, Real Life, from Tom Stoppard, with Pierre Arditi, Evelyne Bouix, Catherine Rich, La Boutique au corner, from Ernst Lubitsch, with Florence Pernel, Samuel Labarthe, Jean-François Derec, Wojtek Psoniak… Le Petit Montparnasse - two hundred places - was created in 1979 in a former frame warehouse. It has created new talents. Trials have been carried out there, some of which have been successful.

Over the last few years, Madame Arthur, initially known for her incredible transvestite shows, has gradually expanded her range of possibilities, to the point of becoming a must-see on Parisian nights. In keeping with the spirit of the place - now associated with the Divan du Monde - we offer you unique evenings: a colorful (and above all, talented) show, followed by a blind-test (Fridays and Saturdays), a singing tour (Thursdays to Saturdays) and finally a clubbing evening with all the French references of yesterday and today.

Open - Close to 02h00

Beneath its unpretentious bistro exterior, Le Dada is the meeting place for young professionals from the Avenue des Ternes area. In fact, the bar is often full. Suits and ties clinging to their buckets also often spill out onto the sidewalk, onto the street. And if not, locals and visitors alike, who stop off here before heading off to do their shopping at the Bayen market just a few meters away. If you're looking for more space and comfort, head upstairs to enjoy the soft lighting and plush sofas.

L'IMPACT

Lounge bar

100% naturist, the rule may surprise first, especially when the doorman gives you a plastic bag to store your business! But the reception is very comfortable in this small but welcoming bar. We drink a glass and talk on the ground floor because customers are first easy. No worries, you won't put your hands on the package directly, nor will you measure your manhood by trying to measure the size of the object of the crime - delight. And then it's pretty nice to sip an orange vodka in the ass!
In the basement, large mattresses, sling, alcoves, minilabyrinthe, what had fun with one or more comrades. Quite hétéroclite clientele. There are for all tastes but you never get bored!
