Read moreDan and Eileen, an American couple with a passion for ice cream, opened this landmark establishment in 2005, after searching the length and breadth of the island for an ice cream worthy of the name. They imported the basic "frozen custard" from the USA and mixed in all the local products they could find, depending on the season. The most popular are coconut ice cream and "Soursop" made with tropical fruit. The atmosphere is also very friendly.
BELIZE CHOCOLATE COMPANY

The first of its kind in the country, this chocolate shop not only offers a menu of hot and cold beverages and pastries with unforgettable flavours, but also boxes and bars of chocolate and related products to take home if you manage not to eat them before your return! The chocolate is, of course, homemade every day from organic cocoa grown on small farms in the south of the country. We couldn't recommend anything more delicious!

We come here to refresh ourselves with great Italian-style ice creams. You'll discover many original flavors, such as licorice/mint and the very local soursop. All the ice creams are homemade, and you can't go wrong with their creaminess. Choice of cups and cones. A lovely terrace overlooking the sea, where you can enjoy these marvels while taking in the marvellous view of nature.

Read moreThis renowned roaster has been producing one of the country's finest coffees since 2005. We come here to buy coffee made from top-quality Arabica beans. Three different coffees are available to take home in your luggage. If you're lucky, you'll run into Paul, the owner of the establishment since 2014, who is happy to explain the production process of the coffee, roasted on site. Tasting is of course available, so you can choose the coffee that best suits your taste buds. Interesting and delicious.
CAKE LADY
Read moreThe "Cake Lady", as she's known on the island, takes her cart full of sweet treats to Front Street every afternoon. These include her famous chocolate coconut tart, lemon tart and moist chocolate cake. Thecinnamon rolls are a sweet delight. If you can't spot her, ask the shopkeepers on Front Street, many of whom know her. Her cart isn't luxurious, of course, but her creations are top-notch. A real nugget!
