Harvesting berries is part of Latvian DNA: blueberries, blackcurrants, lingonberries, elderberries... We eat them as they are, of course, but they are also used to prepare infusions and liqueurs. Yet this distillery, just a few kilometers south of Cēsis, has dubbed itself the "health laboratory", to show that the emphasis is more on the benefits of plants than on getting drunk.
