BREWMINE
Read moreThis microbrewery has planted its tanks right in the middle of Hasselt. Inaugurated in early 2022, it is the first to reopen in the city since 1965. Behind the initiative are a group of enthusiasts and Brouwland, a brewing equipment supplier. In its large tap room, which looks more like a lounge bar than a café, you'll be able to choose from 20 different types of beer: classic Belgian amber, IPA's, porters and German-style beers. The friendly bar staff will be happy to answer any questions you may have.
KOKS & TALES
Read moreThis is THE cocktail bar in Hasselt. It's got it all: the Roaring Twenties look, the velvet on the seats, the subdued lighting, the 5-storey shelves filled with the rarest spirits, while the front of the bar displays tinctures and other bitters, the jazzy playlist... and a bartender who knows what he's doing! In addition to the good old mixes you're all familiar with, the bar has its own creations, but we recommend the "Beauty & the Beast", based on juniper of course, but with a mise-en-scène that's worth ordering on its own. That's all we have to say!
