Comptoir Irlandais is a paradise for lovers of this characterful island across the Channel. Here you'll find all the major brands of tea, in bags and loose. On the savoury side, you'll also find pickles, chutneys, relishes and achars. But where Comptoir Irlandais excels is in its selection of Irish and Scottish whiskies, available by the bottle or in a box, as well as its Breton and British beers... In fact, this boutique is the second largest whisky cellar in France.

In the caves de l'Argoat, you'll be able to find some very good wine. The atmosphere is delightfully cosy, with the subtle scents of teas, coffees and chocolates mingling with the sweet fragrances of scented candles and soaps. All the senses are involved... In the cellar, grand crus stand alongside estate wines and spirits. Not forgetting gourmet products and beautiful decorative objects... And the store itself is worth a look for its charm. In the land of Per Jakez Helias and Hénaff pâté, in an old farmhouse with an undeniable cachet, Patrick Daniel (the first brewer in the Bigouden region in 1999!) brews traditional, top-fermented, pure malt, unfiltered beers in vats from Wales. There are five types of beer from Penhors: amber, blonde, brown, white and stout. About 400 hl/year come out of the Bigouden vats. And since a few years, a delicious organic lemonade is also made on the spot! A very nice discovery.

A wine specialist, La Cave de la Rocade welcomes you in its shop located in Pont-l'Abbé. Here you can discover a selection of wines (Italian and Spanish), but also spirits, spirits and champagne. The Cellar also offers bulk coffee and tea. In all, there are no fewer than 1 500 references here with, in addition, table and cellar accessories, glasses, carafes, regional products…

Ty Ar Gwin is a pleasant place to discover and taste wines from independent winegrowers, with no fewer than 700 references, most of them from human-scale estates, reflecting a constant quest for authenticity. This rigorous selection also includes "natural", organic and/or sustainable wines. Our terroir is showcased through these wines, as well as champagnes and crémants, whiskies, rums, beers, brandies, cognacs and even saké! We love the local selection of beers, artisanal ciders and terrines.... But let's not be chauvinistic: you'll find products from all over the world.

What a great story this family distillery has. Tired of a life spent behind a desk, these young founders left the city for this project. Their first gin, named Polly, was a great success with distributors in the region. New recipes are already in the works, including a whiskey. They will use as many local herbs and ingredients as possible. The distillery and its store are open in Kerdelec to welcome you, visit, exchange without moderation and of course taste.

This artisanal distillery is one of the editor's favourites! The Moby Dick distillery produces small pearls to be consumed in moderation. Verbena liqueur, nasturtiums or Elixir d'amour are some of their creations. They also produce whisky (Sky peated, white and amber), gin and pastis. It is even possible to take part in a workshop to make whisky or other aperitifs. Super quality!

Here's a wine merchant just the way we like them! Enriched by his experience in the restaurant business, Philippe Le Coz presents his wide range of wines, champagnes, whiskies and spirits. From round wines to flowery wines, Philippe will be able to advise you on the right wine to accompany your menu. He is a passionate person who loves to share. Tastings are organised on Friday afternoons in a warm and friendly atmosphere in the cellar on Place Guérin. The bottles are highlighted on their wooden racks and with a lighting that will make you grey before the good wine. You will want to come and read the labels to get to know the producer. Enough to make you want to before bewitching your guests!

Located in the heart of Saint-Martin, l'Urbaine is an artisanal micro-brewery in Brest created by Julien Plégades. The establishment wants to be a place of creation and production of artisanal beers in an eco-responsible spirit. L'Urbaine offers organic beers made with passion! The Stoner, a blonde Pale Ale, for example, is distributed in bars, restaurants and wine shops. Here is a modest craft brewery that seems to be filled with beautiful human and ecological values: research, taste and pleasure!

Gérald, three-time world champion windsurfer, is passionate about the maritime world and beer brewing. It was therefore natural that he wanted to set up his brewery on the quays of Brest, at the marina. The first beer brewed, a light lager, is, as will be the following ones, artisanal and organic. As for the partners of the brewery, they are local and supportive. In short, a port beer, made to federate and transmit the taste of the open sea! The wager is successful: a real pleasure! Xavier is a passionate guy who fell in tiny. This winery, originally laid, sells wines of producers, name or countries from all wine-growing France. He himself chooses his suppliers and his favourites are located in the south of France. A craft brewery in Locronan is in line with tradition. Once home to weavers, this village has been able to renew itself by welcoming numerous craftsmen who contribute to its tourist appeal. The brewery was founded in 2022 by two passionate friends. Appreciated by locals and served in nearby restaurants, their production has grown over the years. You are invited to discover no less than seven different beers. You can also taste them on site in the brand-new boutique.

It would not be very original if in this vast cellar there were some 300 beers - Brittany, of course, Czech, Australian, Quebec and even Corsican! - and especially Belgian and German for which they are genuine specialists. 100 whiskies, of the good, of the very good and even a surprising Japanese… As for wines - ah wines - nothing only from the production of owners. Founded in 1980, Distillerie du Plessis remains committed to tradition. But it also likes to innovate... Pastis marin (with seaweed), Liqueur Algane Océan (bitter orange and seaweed), Liqueur de fraises de Plougastel (Plougastel strawberry liqueur) and Kremmig (flavored cider brandy cream) are just some of the flavors to be discovered in the store. The cider house won an award at the Concours Général Agricole de Paris in 2018. Let yourself be tempted by a guided tour of the museum and a tasting session.

Practical: you can also buy harvesters' wines in cubes. Events are regularly organised on site, such as themed evenings with blind wine tastings and the discovery of grape varieties by region. The privatization of the place is possible for customized requests.

Lenaïg and Steven open their doors all year round for live sales, tastings and guided tours in season. You will discover a farm cider of character, a Cornouaiile PDO cider (the only PDO in Brittany), pommeau de Bretagne, lambig de Cornouaille and flat apple juice or Bulles de pommes, a surprising sparkling apple juice. Here at Menez Brug, or "Mont des bruyères", everything is made using traditional methods and the cider is not pasteurized to keep its aromas. To be discovered at full speed!

This bulk and organic grocery store offers local products. Jacques is a former educator specializing in popular education. The store is magnificent, with fresh, seasonal vegetables. His cheese is delivered by a New Yorker who lives in Saint-Urbain and produces excellent cow's milk tomme and other gustatory delights... The owner also works with Le Sérail for Marseille soaps. You can do all your shopping with him. There's also a café/workshop area. A real place to live!

Vino Terrae is our little darling! Anne-Claire Hénaff has opened a wine cellar there, and we hope you'll give us some news about it! First of all, the store is very beautiful and modern: it's a detail that counts, you feel good there, you can breathe and the wine too. The bottles (all prices are represented) are well presented and Anne-Claire knows how to help you in your choice. A few bottles of white wine are waiting in the fridge for those in a hurry. The whole is completed by a delicatessen (the prices are perhaps a little high) of very high quality.

World cellar, King de Bretagne will delight experts. Alcohol offered by the Baker house (on the port since 36 years!) blend Breton memories, world culinary specialities and many products offered by this large popular boutique with Brest-native and passer-by. Alcohol often come from the neighbourhood (beers, ciders, liqueurs, chouchen…) but also from far away, even very far away! King de Bretagne has a fine collection of Scotland, Ireland, Japanese and Breton whiskies. A selection of west indian rum is just as impressive (and Brittany still offers arranged “Breizh” rums…).
