ONLY BEARS
Read moreOverlooking the charming butter square, where most of the city's creperies are concentrated, Only bears is a new addition to the landscape.... Finally, not quite because the brand existed in a shop version in the halls of Quimper, before moving at the end of 2018. Lovers of good beers from all over the world will be delighted to find ten different types of beer every day under pressure. Recently, biodynamic natural wines have been added to the list. We like to accompany our glass with a sausage, land or sea rillettes, or a plate of oysters. We will appreciate the two atmospheres, at the counter or on the mezzanine on the first floor, with cosy armchairs and mismatched furniture but where design is king. Clever: all draught beers are available in a galloping version, to favour tasting!
LES FAUVETTES
Read moreLocated in the Saint-Martin district, not far from the church, this pub is a Brest institution! It takes its name from the warblers that chirped in the trees of the Saint-Martin wood in the 17th century. With its old-fashioned facade and wooden half-timbering, giving it the air of a tavern, it offers a warm decor and welcome. Considered by some to be the best beer bar in town, it's a meeting place for many gangs of friends, and all generations gather here for a pint. Definitely a place to go for an aperitif "à la brestôase".
As an added bonus, the place regularly organizes quiz nights, for all those who enjoy group games.
