There are several workshops and stores in and around the town. The choice is difficult, as prices and quality vary greatly from one address to another. Don't hesitate to visit several factories and compare finishes. Make sure you also know about shipping costs and taxes, because while it's possible to take a small model as hand luggage, it's not possible for larger models (extra cost).

This traditional glassworks recycles bottles into decorative objects. On site, a team of craftsmen are busy bringing glass back to life - you can watch glassblowers from 10am to 11am and from 1pm to 2pm - while a museum highlights the gallery's involvement in environmental protection. A special feature is Hands of Fame, an evolving exhibition of handprints made by celebrities who have visited Mauritius. The boutique offers vases, candleholders, lamps, mirrors, etc.
