It's been "the" bar for over 20 years. This bar-restaurant pizzeria is very lively and open every day. Music "ao vivo" every night. One of the favorite hangouts of Foz's youth. You can spend a happy hour there, always festive, but many guests also come to eat various dishes, meat, desserts. The Picanha na pedra with manioc and the "torta de aipim" and its ice cream will keep you going until the end of the night. It is also a meeting place for passing tourists and locals.

A great classic! It was inaugurated in 1884, rua Dr Muricy. The present building dates from 1953, to commemorate the centenary of the political emancipation of the State. The project to build the theatre was decided at the end of the 1940s and construction began in 1952. During this decade, Paraná experienced the peak of the maté economy and, in the northern region, the beginning of the coffee expansion, and it was only inaugurated in 1974. The Centro Cultural Teatro Guaíra has become one of the largest cultural complexes in Latin America.

A tasty seafood restaurant and bar are served at the beginning of the evening in a romantic setting.

This address is a must because of its kitsch Black Forest atmosphere. A rustic and relaxed setting, good beer flowing to make the sausages slide. Full on weekends (more than 500 people). You can feel at the beer festival in Munich without going all the way to Blumenau in the neighbouring state of Santa Catarina. The speciality is the "carne de onça" (literally panther meat), the Curitiba tartar, with garlic, onions and black bread and black mustard. Of course, black forest for dessert or apfelstrudel.

An excellent place to have a drink and listen to music ao vivo (live), be it rock, jazz, blues, Brazilian popular music or reggae. One of the most festive places in Foz d'Iguaçu. Pearl Jam, Nirvana, all the Seattle and UW alumni will of course have a little twinge in their heart for this revival of the 90s. Those who love the ever-rich Brazilian alternative and rock scene won't be disappointed either. Raul Seixas fans, still numerous, can come and listen to covers of their idol's songs.

It is the great competitor of the Capitao on Schimmelpfeng Avenue. So this is the other popular place in Foz de Iguazu to go out for a drink downtown. Also open since the early 2000s, it's the same concept of a huge bar, with large tables, screens to watch football, flowing beer, and loud commercial background music (live music every night). Happy hour also from 4pm to 8pm. For the thirsty, some mugs can hold up to 1.5 litres of beer.
