May-Line, a dynamic young woman and heiress of a family of winegrowers from a Vosne-Romanée estate, was in charge of the Caveau de la Chouette before the place was taken over in April 2019 by Brian Verpeaux. While keeping the identity of the establishment, its new owner, who has made his mark in London and Paris, has adapted the concept to a wine and cocktail bar, refocusing its menu on 100% Burgundy wines. A la carte: Gevrey Chambertin, Pommard, Saint-Véran, Hautes Côtes de Nuits, or Saint-Romain, from 6 to 24 euros per glass or from 26 to 300 euros per bottle. The house proposes you to accompany your tasting with gougères, bruschettas, a board of cheeses and charcuteries or even snails from Burgundy. The novelty lies in the mixology, where you can savour delicious cocktails. As proof, the winery came third in the Burgundy mixology competition in January 2020. The atmosphere is festive and sometimes even supportive, during the broadcasting of football matches. Some may also privatize the place for tailor-made evenings.

Stéphane Guénin's bar is a friendly place where all kinds of people meet, each at their own time, with the average age dropping dramatically on Friday evenings, bringing a host of entertainment to the charming village of Moloy. The bar is housed in a building that was once an inn in 1850. With rock music playing in the background, Stéphane's guitar hangs on the wall, ready to serve! Here, beef isn't just on the plate. On Friday evenings, the aperitif platters follow one another, as do the rounds of friends to the rhythm of the themed evenings.

The Madeleine Café has been the must-see meeting place in the antique district since 2018. In a wooded decor, cool in the summer and warm in the winter, it is the place for those who like to take their time with a good book or chat with friends. If you don't come for a gourmet breakfast, hurry there at lunchtime and taste a proposal from the daily and seasonal menu. Monsieur Moutarde is an elegant bar that offers several rooms with different atmospheres. Depending on whether you are in a group, with the desire to mingle with the effervescence, or on the contrary, in a secluded space for a more intimate moment, or in the open air in the superb interior courtyard. We love the neat and contemporary decoration where beautiful furniture, armchairs and velvet benches are mixed. We love the cocktail menu made with fresh products and an undeniable know-how. Nice drinks with funny or exotic names depending on whether they are classic or cleverly created by highly trained mixologists. A delicious place to discover!

Come discover the flavors of freshly ground coffee at Caffè Gufo. The owner, Jean-Baptiste Legouge, who is passionate about roasting, is happy to tell customers about the secrets of making coffee. Located on rue de la Chouette, a stone's throw from the Square des Ducs, it's an opportunity to take a short break on the terrace to taste local and natural coffees, like those found at the Caféothèque in Paris. The menu is renewed every three weeks and the espresso, whether lungo or ristretto, costs two euros. The icing on the cake is that the house offers green coffee and infusions made from coffee cherries. Jean-Baptiste is still inspired by his trips to Italy to compose his menu, with for example the delicious Bicerin from Turin. Finally, for those who are not convinced, you can enjoy Christine Dattner's tea or opt for a beer or a fruit juice.

The Comptoir des Négociants is not a bar like any other despite its institutional past as a PMU bar. It is a café, a store of good things and a place of exhibition. You can have a snack break with Daniel Le Poupon's pastries, or an aperitif break with a cheese and charcuterie board. Most of the drinks served, wines, beers, absinthes, lemonades, fruit juices and other mineral waters, are of regional production and mostly sold at the Comptoir. We love the expression of good taste that reigns at the Comptoir like a ray of sunshine!

In the Antiques Quarter, the Brighton is the oldest pub in Dijon and the most authentic with its decoration so typical of the pubs across the Channel! The good atmosphere is always there. We like to meet in its hushed atmosphere or completely overheated, especially during sports evenings. In the evening, the tavern is transformed into a metal, rock and Gothic pub. Rest assured, don't have to have the blafard face, long hair and black clothes from head to foot to be welcomed by the boss. Another advantage of this bar for which we have a real heart: its excellent value for money. Pre-listening evenings of albums, conferences, exhibitions, dedications… are often organized. Finally, among the theme evenings that are very successful, the jack and roll or the steam punk, two costumed events not to miss!

A totally unusual and unique place in Dijon: a coffee game! At the origin of the project, there is an association that has later in ideas. In order to be able to enjoy the Dé, you must join the eponymous association. The amount of contributions is small so that everyone, whatever their means, can benefit from the device. Rendez Street, in the city centre, in a very beautiful area of three rooms, nothing but that! Each has been decorated with great taste and care. By setting up a table, look at the apparent stones, the characters painted on the walls and the many boxes of games. The volunteers warmly welcome you and explain everything on site. They show you all the available games and inform you of afternoons and theme evenings organized every week. For your part to be even better, a small beverage card (obviously without alcohol) awaits you as well as sweet and salty snacks. In order to make the coffee work, the association is looking for more volunteers, do not hesitate to propose.

Linked to the Premium universe of the Hôtel de Beaune, welcome to The American Bar. More than 400 references of whiskeys, rums, tequilas and signature cocktails for this cocktail and spirits bar. The woodwork, club chairs and atmosphere give this bar an English club feel. Regular jazz and cocktail evenings are organized (entrance fee around 20 €), a relaxed jazz evening in a beautiful setting to sip a cocktail, pick up some snacks. In short, it's a complete venue, an extension of the activities organized by the Moloka association at Les Tanneries. In this establishment, the doors are wide open to the public of punk and skin culture, but rest assured there are no troublemakers! You can chat over coffee, and find cultural products unique to the independent and militant bookshop: ecology, feminism, the economy, employment, trade unionism and more. The record shop sells vinyl as well as CDs: 1960s American jazz, rock, indie music, not-so-indie music... Something for everyone! The store also takes part in the annual Record Store Day, which is a great place to find the most vinyl! And don't forget the conferences and debates organized on site. So, to all those who have ideals to defend and values to pass on, you've come to the right place!

Located just a stone's throw from Place de la République and Place du Théâtre, Bam Jam is a café you can recognize by its blue paintwork, large bay window and the many posters on the walls. If you come early in the evening, you'll be able to satisfy your hunger (plates of French fries, galettes,...) and whatever the time of day, you'll be able to have a drink with friends while listening to music and, from time to time, attending a concert (agenda on the Bam Jam Facebook page).
