A very British and unusual pub, on Route 1 that leads to the quiet town of Half Moon Bay. Outside, a truck converted into a cigar bar, even more original than the pub itself! An Italian restaurant that is also home to one of Monterey's liveliest nightlife spots. Six days a week, the music is in full swing: in jazz mode with a drink at the bar or dinner, or on the dance floor on Fridays and Saturdays. On the menu, pasta dishes are the highlight of the restaurant. You will also find seafood, meats, salads and sandwiches of all kinds. Nice and warm atmosphere. Happy hour with nice discounts on cocktails and on the Italian antipasti, very tempting.

We love the concept of Mosaic Locale, a kind of condensation of excellent addresses: the place serves coffees from Old Town Coffee & Roasters, delicious empanadas from Buena Onda - an Argentinian restaurant - and beers from microbrewery Draughtsmen Aleworks. While it's possible to eat indoors, we highly recommend taking a seat in the charming little courtyard. Bonus: jazz concerts on some evenings and afternoons.
